1.0 – Introduction

Loads of people in clans have been asking questions about waterfiends, these creatures are great for crimson charms, which are some of the best summoning charms available. Well to start off – they are level 115 with 128hp and are found in two different place in Runescape, one of them is in the Chaos tunnels where its all multi combat, and its not too easy because of the aggresiveness of the fiends also in that area. The other place is in The Ancient Cavern near the Waterfall, you will need to complete the mini-quest “Barbarian Training” to some degree before you can enter the Whirlpool which leads you down into the Cavern.

YOU CANNOT TAKE SUMMONING FAMILIARS DOWN INTO THE WHIRLPOOL, INSTEAD YOU HAVE TO SUMMON THEM ONCE YOU ARE DOWN THERE.

Waterfiends are one monster in Runescape that does not use a melee attack. Insted they use BOTH mage and range attacks, but their range attack seems to be more accurate and having the same max hit as the mage attack, which is 11. They are generally weak to CRUSH attacks making weapons such as the godswords a great addition for slaying these creatures. There are many methods to use at waterfiends, most prefer to use the Bunyip method because they don’t need to rely on food and/or guthans. But other methods such as ranging and meleeing with guthans are also effective.

This is a Waterfiends range based attack.
This is a Waterfiends range based attack.

2.0 – How To Get There!

The Waterfiends are very easy to get to, with the games necklass teleport to the “Barbarian Assult” minigame which is around 50 – 60 Squares from the whirlpool leading to the cavern.
Here is the location of the Whirlpool, notice the Barbarian outpost is just north of it:

Location of the whirlpool leading to waterfiends
Location of the Whirlpool leading to waterfiends.

When you have teleported to Barbarian outpost using the Games Necklace, then run directly south untill you get here:

Jumping into the waterfiend whirlpool
Jumping into the waterfiend whirlpool

From here Jump into the Whirlpool (the animation is pretty good for this! :P) you will end up here:

Inside the whirlpool waterfiend cavern
Inside the whirlpool waterfiend cavern.

From here you go down the steps on the far east of the platform you are on, you now are face with two choices, if you are ranging you should use the the first spot which normally will have somebody using it, for meleeing you shold use the second spot as there are more waterfiends and less people.

The waterfiend killing spots
The waterfiend killing spots.

When you are finished you CAN use home teleport because they should be non-aggressive by then, if not then you could use the logs in the river which takes you near the waterfall which is a safe place you can use the hometeleport.

3.0 – Method One

Method one is normally the most popular, it involes using a bunyip as the healing source, a bunyip requires 68 summoning to use and will heal you 2hp every 15 seconds this is good enough to provide the hp that you lose to the waterfiends.
An example inventory is shown below, the invent used can be adapted to get the best possible loot to suit the individual player.

Waterfiend method one inventory
Waterfiend method one inventory.

If you have high enough summoning, you can use 2 bunyips a trip – you need 75+ summoning to do this, if you dont you could always take out a combat potion for a summoning potion so you could summon two.

When you tele to the barbarian outpost go into the assult building and bank the games necklace so you have 2 free spaces, then go into the whirlpool and run to spot 2 where you can drop your anti fire shield and summon one bunyip, this enables you to have 3 free spaces once you have got to your spot, this means you can loot all crimson charms and a few extras such as alchables (explained in FAQ’s what the ‘notable’ drops are.)

Protect from range so you only take damage from the mage attacks from the waterfiends, using the mage defence armour means that you don’t get hit much so the bunyip will heal more hp than you will lose.

Other weapons you could use instead of the zammy spear are: godswords (sara works every well here because its special), sara sword (pretty much the same speed as the spear) Veracs Flail (only use this as a last resort, this averages 40 crimson charms per bunyip compared to 60 – 70 charms with the zammy spear.)

Stay untill your bunyips have run out, this makes it less boring and easily enjoyable, a bunyip lasts for 44 minutes. Generally you will average 120 charms a trip which comes out to 30 – 50K summoning exp.

The cost of this is strangly low. If you use prayer potions instead of super restores (suggested because super restores are more expensive) you should break even each trip, clue scrolls come in handy because they make it so the trip could end in profit as they are level 3.

IF YOU ARE 68+ SUMMONING I SUGGEST YOU USE THIS METHOD BECAUSE IT IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST IN TERMS OF CHARMS/HOUR

4.0 – Method Two

The second method is less effective method, it relys heavily on guthans and uses less prayer potions as you dont need to pray when you above half hp. Once you get lower then half you then pray RANGE untill you are about 90% of your HP. For this method you use spot one, mainly because if you become desperate for HP there is a barbarian there which uses melee only so you can pray melee and heal freely on him.

Here is the suggested invent for method two:

Waterfiend method two inventory
Waterfiend method two inventory.

The inventory includes food incase you become desperate for hp and there is no skeleton to heal on, although there are less prayer pots. When you become more experienced with this method you could get around 160 charms per trip, but its slow work because your relying on guthans. lots of people hate this method because of that factor and the red bared moments. So generally if you dont trust your guthans then don’t bother using this method.

5.0 – Method Three

Method three involves ranging, people think that you can’t range these little beasties because they use range and mage attacks, well infact you can. To range them you are going to need to wait untill they become unagressive, this is around 9 – 12 minutes of killing them. The invent for ranging is a mixture of the melee invent mainly because of the waiting for non-aggresiveness.

Here is the suggested invent for method three:

Waterfiend method three inventory
Waterfiend method three inventory.

There is only one spot you can only use for this method, this is because you trap them behind a peice of land and range them over the piece of sticking out river.

Here is the ranging spot:

Waterfiend ranging spot
Waterfiend ranging spot.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THE PICTURE ABOVE DOES NOT SHOW RANGING GEAR, IT IS JUST TO SHOW YOU THE SPOT.

In the red circle is where the Waterfiend must be lured to, this means you must attack it when its in the correct place, which is the red splodge on the radar. If the waterfiend is not in the correct place it will attack you with mage and range, this is why you have the extra prayer potions and a melee weapon, so when you mess up you will be able to kill it fast (yes you will mess up at least once a trip :P)

Please take note that this is slowest method that there is, but it is also the cheapest.

6.0 – Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which charms are droped the most?

A: Crimson charms are the most common charms at the waterfiends.

Q:How many charms per hour?

A: This depends on the weapon which you use, with zammy spear you get 70 – 80 per 44 mins (bunyip time) with godsword you get 60 – 70 per 44 mins (bunyip time)

Q: What Slayer level is needed to kill them?

A: You dont need a slayer level to kill these monsters, they are not slayer specific.

Q: Why did you decide to make this guide?

A: Because loads of people in clans ask questions about waterfiends all the time, this guide sums up the methods and saves a lot of time

Q: Whats that helm in the melee without guthans picture?

A: The Helm is the Dwarven helmet – it gives +6 crush bonus.

Runescape – Armadyl God Wars Guide

British Elites Runescape Clan

Introduction

Armadyl God Wars Guide

Armadyl God Wars Guide

Hi, welcome to my Armadyl Guide. I haven’t been a lot arma myself but I know the basics.
Armadyl is to me one of the harder gwd bosses. He’s also the only boss that you can’t attack with melee. The name of the boss is Kree’arra but most people just call him arma. Kree’arra attacks with range and mage.

BEWARE THAT THIS IS A SOLO GUIDE!

Requirements

Like every gwd boss a player should have some decent skills to be able to kill Kree’arra.

Minimum stats

– 60 strength or agility
– 70 range

Recommended stats

80 + range
70+ defence
44 + prayer
( 52 summoning )

Monsters and Killcount

To get your killcount I would advice you to kill the low level aviansies ( lvl 69,73 and 79).
When you are inside Kree’arra’s lair there are 4 different kinds of monsters. This is Kree’arra and the other 3 are his minios.

Kree’arra

Armadyl God Wars Guide Kree’arra

Armadyl God Wars Guide Kree’arra

To kill Kree’arra you should pray range, otherwise you’ll be dead in a few seconds…
He will use a kind of attack style that will blow you away, don’t worry it is normal just run back to the place where you would like to stay

Wingman Skree (level-143)
Magic attacks
Flockleader Geerin (level-149)
Ranged attacks
Flight Kilisa (level-159)
Melee attacks

Best order to kill them:
1.Kree’arra
2.Wingman Skree
3.Flockleader Geerin
4.Flight Kilisa

Runescape – Ivy and Farming Combined Guide

Requirements:
– 9 Farming (higher is advised though)
– 68 Woodcutting (for Ivy)

Suggested levels:
– Higher Farming
– 51 Magic (For Ardougne Teleport)

Item Requirements:
– Rune/Dragon Hatchet or Inferno Adze
– Herb seeds (Toadflax if you want big profit, Highest possible herb seeds if you want experience)
– Flower seeds (Optional)
– Allotment seeds (Optional)
– Payments for the other seeds (If you want to be sure your Allotment patches will stay alive)

Here is a link to Zybez’ Farming information [link in the text]
– Super Compost (optional)
– about 250 gp cash, to buy Plant Cure.
– Regular farming equipment (Spade, Rake, Seed Dibber)

Suggested/Usefull Items:
– Magic Secateurs (for more herbs per patch)
– Ardougne Cloak 3+elite (for teleporting to the Ardougne patch) If you don’t have one, just use runes to teleport to Ardougne.
– Falador Shield 2 (for more herbs when farming Falador patch)
– Explorers Ring 3 (for teleporting to the Falador patch, this one is needed for effective farming)
– Ectophial (for teleporting to the Morytania Patch)

Useful information:
– You can use your farmed items (herbs, allotments and flowers) on the Leprechaun to receive them in notes. This makes mass-farming very easy.
– Weeds can NOT be noted, so make sure you drop/bank these.
– It’s useful to have a decent amount of Supercompost stored in the Leprechaun.
– You can note your payments, making it easy to take the payments for several trips.

Your inventory and gear should look somewhat like this:

Image

Inventory and gear required

Explanation to the picture:

Gear:
Ardougne Cloak 3+elite, this is very hard to get, but I took runes too, so you can see a regular set-up.

Magic Secateurs
Falador Shield 3, I have 3, but 2 is sufficient.
Explorers ring 3, this is the highest possible, but it’s very easy to get.

Inventory:
8 Supercompost, this is enough for the herbs and the flowers for one trip.
24 herb seeds, this is for 6 trips using 4 patches. There is a 5th patch, which is usefull, but certainly not necessary.
24 flower seeds (marigold seeds used to show what to take), same as the herb seeds.
144 allotment seeds (potato used to show), 3 seeds per patch, 2 patches per set, 4 set per trip, 6 trips for a round. 2*3*4*6 = 144 seeds.
48 buckets of compost (payment for the potatoes), 2 buckets of compost per patch, 2 patches per set, 4 sets per trip, 6 trips for a round. 2*2*4*6 = 96 buckets of compost (or 48 units of payment)
Ectophial to teleport to the Morytania patch.
18 Law Runes for 6 Camelot teleports and 6 Ardougne Teleports.
30 Air Runes for 6 Camelot teleports.
12 Water Runes for 6 Ardougne teleports.
Farming Equipment

As you can see, I forgot the coins. If you come to the same conclusion while cutting ivy, run to Draynor, and grab some cash

How to start:

1) Teleport with the Ectophial to the Ectofuntus near Port Phasmatys.
2) Walk north, then west, past the farm to get to the first set of farming patches. Remove all the weeds per patch and start planting the seeds per patch.
Use Supercompost on your herb patch before planting your herb seed. There is a chance your herb-plant can die. With Supercompost, this chance is reduced.
Depending on your Flower seed, you might want to use Supercompost. This is advised when using Limpwurt seeds.
Plant your Allotment seeds per patch, without the Supercompost. Use the “Pay-(Location) for both the patches.

3) Teleport to Ardougne with either your runes, or the Ardougne Cloak. When teleporting with the runes, walk to the northern city gate, proceed further north, climb over the first stile, over the second stile, and open the fence at the cows. Walk north and you’ll find patch-set 2.
Repeat the actions said in step 2.

4) Teleport to Camelot. Walk east and a bit south and you’ll find patch-set 3. This is the Catherby patch-set. Repeat step 2 again.
5) This is your final step for starting. Teleport to the Falador Farming patch-set with the “Cabbage-port”-option on your Explorers Ring 3. Repeat step 2.

After you’ve planted your seeds and paid the farmer, walk north.
You’ll end up at Falador’s South wall. There are 7 spots where ivy will grow, start cutting them.

Image

Ivy Cutting

As you can see below, if you turn your camera the correct way, you can see your herb patch.

Image

Herb patch

This patch is your “timing-patch”. If you notice the herbs are getting diseased, use a Plant Cure on the patch. Keep cutting the ivy until you notice the herbs are fully grown. You’ll notice this if it shows the option “Pick Herbs”.

Now it’s time to do your new farming run.

6) Teleport to Ectofuntus again.
7) Your patches will all be done. Start harvesting your allotment. When you’re done with the patch, use the farmed items on the Leprechaun to receive notes. You can do this for every item you’ll gain from farming.
Harvest the other patches at the area, plant new seeds (as said in step 2), pay the farmer and click Exchange on the Leprechaun. Click on the empty buckets in your inventory tab. The Leprechaun will store them.

8) Teleport to Ardougne, repeat step 3. When you arrive, harvest, plant, note, and pay the farmer as said in step 7.
9) Teleport to Camelot and walk to the Catherby patch-set. When you arrive, repeat step 7.
10) You are now close to a bank. You can take the empty buckets out of the Leprechaun’s storage. Go to the bank, which is located south of the patches. Bank the empty buckets, nests obtained from the ivy and whatever you want to bank. I suggest keeping the noted items in your investory. This is a great motivation and an easy way to check how much profit you’ve made.

11) Teleport to the Falador patch-set and repeat step 7.

Walk back to the ivy and start chopping again.
Again, when you notice your herb is diseased, cure it.

Every ~75 minutes, you’ll be able to farm the herbs.

In the 75 minutes you’ll be chopping ivy, you’ll most likely gain between 90k and 140k woodcutting experience.

In the end, your farming will go up in no-time, especially when you’re new to the members area. You’ll also gain a lot of woodcutting experience.

After about 300k woodcutting experience and a nice bit of food and sleep, I ended up with:

Easy cash!

That’s some easy cash too, using just herbs.

Good luck getting some nice cash

Runescape – Armadyl God Wars Solo Guide

I like to solo armadyl it is my favorite thing to do on the game. I have been soloing armadyl at least once a day for approximately 3 month and I have made roughly 300mill in drops

2x hilts

5x helms

1x skirt

and 20million in dwarf weed herbs and seeds

Although it appears indimidating to risk a substantial amount of armor to solo fight a high lvl monster, armadyl is perhaps the easiest to solo with the proper setup and the best to solo for time. Although bandos kc takes 5 minutes you are only in the room 5 minutes. Armadyl kc takes 20 minutes and I have stayed in the room for 10 kills and 45 minutes as my record I have done atleast 1,000 solo kills and have experimented with numerous techniques to minimize damage and inventory setups and I would like to share with my friends in the clan what I consider to be the best money on the game (I made the same amount of money one would earn runecrafting from 70-99)

First off I would recommend atleast 85 defense/range before attempting solos because the amount of kills per trip probably wouldnt compensate for the amount of total supplies lost. Armadyl soloing is expensive. Even with addy bars a trip will cost roughly 200-300k a trip but mathematically one should receive atleast a helmet drop for every 5mill in supplies spent. (Trust me on this one I constantly broke even from helmet drops to pay for supplies). Now lets get down to business with inventory/gear.

Inventory is absolutely crucial to maximizing return on investment (supplies).

runescapearmadylgodwarssologuide1

Armadyl God Wars Solo Familiar Inventory

As you can see I do a 2/1 ratio in my tort with 1 extra brew so 11/5 with pouch and scrolls. I do 2/1 because when im able to heal with some fruit I dont restore after brewing for prayer.

Gear is also very important and I understand that risking a sizeable portion of your bank can be a turn off so here is my personal setup I use that I found out is the best setup for low risk. You will notice I have 2 armadyl pieces with a risk of 8.3. I choose to wear a few armadyl pieces because I am still risking 7m if I wear karils and bird helm so the extra 1m risk for armadyl is justifiable. It doesnt matter if you trade in arma helm for v helm or wear karils and v helm the risk still equals the same.

runescapearmadylgodwarssologuide2
Armadyl God Wars Solo Inventory/Gear

Basically any mix of armadyl and karils is a good setup. Even full karils with spirit shield and v helm is a good setup.

THE FIGHT

Fighting armadyl imo is not that hard. You constantly protect range so that attack does not hit while your mage bonus armor protects against the mage somewhat well. Kilisa is the only minion that you have no prayer or armor to work around. I quick pray protect item steel defense protect range and eagle eye. I like to keep a certain distance away from kree because there is one technique that will help not take so much damage while healing. I like to call this the evade and heal tactic. As you know krees wings will blow you in certain directions so when i need to heal I will run in the direction of the wind (it helps propel you far away from him so he wont melee when you are healing). I click one sip run away from him and sip again. At this point in time i will range him one time to trick the system so he will not melee me and take 1 more brew sip. I range him one more time as I restore and that is my effective technique on healing without taking melee damage.

I do not pray at the altar until I break out my bat. Reason is before you break out the healing familar you brew/restore enough to keep prayer up so I save my altar praying until when I need it and that is my first kill with bat.

The Bat-For those that are familar and experienced with the bat you should already have an understanding of the timing. It is very important to keep some distance between kree and yourself when you are picking up papayas. You can time it to pick up a papaya range him pick up pap range him multiple times without the bird coming in for a melee attack. This is a great technique for healing and not using brews for a period of time and can extend your trip by a few kills.

The minions-As soon as kree dies I unclick my quick prayer and immediately turn on just protect range and hawkeye to save prayer. I also do this so I can 1 click my quick pray back on when kree spawns. I Always take out the mage first unless the melee minion has half hitpoints or something. Mage/melee/range is the proper order to kill minions in. The time you are killing minions is the best opportunity to fill any empty inventory spots with fruit.

Well that is all I guess have fun soloing if you choose to 🙂

Runescape – Duel Arena Guide

Duel tournaments are held in another part of the duel arena from normal duels and can only be done in world 54. It works basically the same way as a normal duel except you work your way through several opponents and get all of the entry money at the end of you win.

To get there:

The duel arena is in Al Karid. Most people would use a ring of duelling to teleport themselves straight there. You can also walk from Lumbridge or Varrock if your poor. Here where it is:

Runescape – Mithril Dragons Guide

Requirements:

– You must be able to get in the Ancient Cavern after passing a certain stage in the Barbarian Training.
– 100+ combat is advised.
– Either high (80+ will do) melee or high (80+) ranged.
– 43 Prayer

Recommended Levels (minimum, best is 99 of course):

Melee: 80 attack, 80 strength, 75 defence, 80 hitpoints, 70 ranged, 70 prayer.

Ranged: 40 defence, 85 ranged, 44 prayer.

68+ Summoning is very useful, making trips longer.

Item Requirements:

– Decent mage defence (black hides, karil, armadyl)
– Antifire shield/Dragonfire shield

Recommended items:

– Prayer Potions
– Super/Extreme Melee Set(s)
– Sharks
– Unicorn Stallion Pouch + scrolls, or Fire/Moss/Ice Titan with Titan’s Constitution Scroll, or a Bunyip.
– Anti Fire potion
– Games Necklace

The Gear when Melee-ing for your slayer task:

Mithril Dragon Killing Melee Style

Mithril Dragon Killing Melee Style

This is pretty much the best you can have.

Alternatives:

Neitiznot when not on your task.

Armadyl Chestplate > Karil Leathertop > Black/God d’hide body

Bandos Tassets ~ Armadyl Plateskirt > Karil Leatherskirt > Black/God d’hide chaps

Fury > God Stole > Glory

Ardougne Cape 3(+elite) > Skillcape (t) > Skillcape (u) > Legends cape
Dragonfire Shield (DFS) > Anti-dragon shield

Leaf-bladed Sword > Whip* –> This is just my preference, as Leaf Bladed Swords have a stab option and supposedly, Mithril Dragons are weak to stab attacks.

Dragon Boots ~ Infinity Boots ~ Ranger Boots > Climbing Boots –> Dragon Boots, Infinity Boots and Ranger Boots all have their up- and downsides. If you have one of the three, just use the pair you have.

Barrow Gloves > Dragon Gloves > Dragon Gauntlets

Berserker Ring ~ Archers’ Ring ~ Seers Ring ~ Warrior ring –> Seeing Mithril dragons use three styles, any of these rings will do. Otherwise, use a Ring of Life if you don’t feel comfortable with the more expensive rings.

Inventory:

At 92 prayer and maxed melee, I use 6 Prayer potions (4) and 1 Extreme Melee set (3) or 2 Super Melee sets (4) for about 9 kills. It’s advised to go by trial and error. Take about this amount at first, see how many kills you’ll be able to get. When you know what’s missing or too much, you can adapt your inventory to your needs.

If you have a Unicorn Stallion or a Moss/Ice/Fire Titan, take about 100 scrolls. It’s more than enough, but it’s a bit annoying when you need to kill one more Mithril dragon and you’re out of food and scrolls.

When you’re taking a Bunyip, take more food (Sharks/Pineapple Pizza’s) and no scrolls, as Mithril dragons won’t drop raw food.

1 Antifire (3) or (4) is enough when using melee on your task. I have NOT tried super antifire potions, I doubt it’ll make a big difference.

Dragon Mace is one of the best special attack weapons against Mithril Dragons. Feel free to try other weapons, I suggest Dragon Mace, as you can hit almost/up to 60 with D mace when on task, after potting, using Piety.

Alternatives:

Focus Sight addition to Slayer helmet > Armadyl Helmet > Karil Coif > God Coif > Neitiznot

Armadyl Body and skirt> Karil top and skirt > Black/God d’hide body and chaps
Fury > God Stole > Glory

Dragonfire Shield (DFS) > Anti-dragon shield

Ava’s Accumulator > Ava’s Attractor –> You’ll end up shooting a lot of bolts. Walking around without something from Ava will end up in you wasting bolts, or prayer doses.

Diamond Bolts (e) > Broad Bolts ~ Ruby Bolts (e) > Emerald Bolts (e)

Dragon Boots ~ Infinity Boots ~ Ranger Boots > Climbing Boots –> Dragon Boots, Infinity Boots and Ranger Boots all have their up- and downsides. If you have one of the three, just use the pair you have.

Barrow Gloves > Dragon Gloves > Dragon Gauntlets

Archers’ Ring > Seers Ring > Berserker Ring ~ Warrior Ring –> Seeing you’re ranging mithril dragons, an Archers’ Ring is the best in this position.

Inventory:

At 92 prayer and 94 ranged, you’ll need about 5 prayer potions (4) and 3 ranging potions (3) or 1 extreme ranging (4) and 2 antifire (3) for 9 kills.

Seeing you’d want to stay away from the dragon’s melee attacks, it’s advised to take an (enhanced) Excalibur. Feel free to try other weapons to spec. with.

NOTE: You CAN! take a filled Bull Ant/Terrorbird/Tortoise/Pack Yak/other familiar from outside. Due to the new fairy ring and the ferocious ring, it is possible to enter with a familiar.

How to get there (The Old Way):

Teleport to Barbarian Outpost with your Games Necklace.

Bank your Games Necklace inside Barbarian Assault, if it didn’t turn to dust.

Walk back to the teleport spot again, then walk south to the pier.

Jump into the whirlpool (This picture shows how the game is glitched, but this is the location)

How To Get To Mithril Dragons

How To Get To Mithril Dragons

When you get in, you’ll see this:

Inside The Mithril Dragon Lair!

Inside The Mithril Dragon Lair!

Get prepared to fight from now on.

Take a sip of your antifire potion now. You can also take a sip of your super/extreme melee set now, if you want to focus on the fight.

Put Protect from Magic on.

Go down the stairs. You’ll see some Brutal Green Dragons and most likely a few Waterfiends. Run north until you see the stairs in the wall.

How to get there (Ferocious Ring):

Use your Ferocious Ring to teleport to Kuradal. Take a sip of antifire, put Protect from Mage on and climb down the rough hewn rocks.

Run north-east towards the stairs. While you’re running, start potting.

How to get there (Fairy Ring):

Same as with the Ring. You take a sip of antifire right before you use the ring with the code BJQ, put Protect from Mage on and start running and potting.

Melee:

Climb up the stairs. As you do, put Protect from Melee and Piety (if you can) on.
Take your sip of your super/extreme melee set now, if you didn’t do that before.
Summon your familiar now, this is the best moment to do so.

Grab your special attack weapon and spec it four times. Proceed using your original weapon. Keep your prayer up. If you are clicking on your food and/or scroll-option regularly, you might forget about the prayer potion. This can end up in you either wasting a lot of food, or in the worst case even dying.

Watch your HP, keep it close to its maximum without wasting food/scrolls.
For instance, when you’re on 75/92 Hitpoints, don’t use a shark, but use a familiar scroll.

When the Mithril Dragon dies, put Piety/Turmoil off, keep Protect from/Deflect Melee on. Trust me, the few prayer points used while waiting for the spawn are worth it. When it spawns, and instantly combo’s you for a 25-18 with melee and mage, you’ll have to use more than you want.

While you’re waiting for the spawn, take another sip of your Super Melee set. It is very useful to stay on the limit of your levels, so the kills will be quicker. When you’re using Extreme Melee sets, take a sip when your attack falls below 119-120 when you’re 99.
You can also take another sip of Prayer Potion if your prayer is low, but don’t waste any.

As soon as the dragon spawns again, put Piety/Turmoil on again and start fighting it.
Keep repeating this, your task will be over in no-time.

Take a sip of antifire potion whenever the message says: Your protection against dragonfire has ran out.

Range:

Climb up the stairs. As you do, put Protect from/Deflect Missiles and Eagle Eye/Leech Ranged (if you can) on.

Take your sip of your (extreme) ranging potion now, if you didn’t do that before.
