Zamorak Godwars Guide

This guide will show you how to successfully kill the Zamorak boss. The boss is quite challenging on your own, but with a group it is very easy. You will need around 5+ and an experienced tanker. You also need 70+ hp.

Melee:

REMEMBER YOU WILL NEED A ZAMMY ITEM TO GET KILLCOUNT. A SARA ITEM IS ALSO RECOMMENDED. IN THIS SCREENIE, I HAVE USED A ZAMMY STOLE AND A SARA SWORD.

The boss attacks with melee/mage so it is important you are resistant to these combat styles. The tanker should be wearing Karils and praying melee to minimize damage done, but the rest of the team can wear good melee gear and pray mage.

Zammy Melee Gear

Veracs/Dharoks/Torags/Guthans/Bandos armour is effective if you are not tanking. The tanker should wear Karils.

Fire cape/skill cape/Obby capes preferred. Zammy/Sara capes can also count as your item.

Fury or glory for amulet spot.

Godsword/SS/Whip preferred. You can also bring a spec weapon (in the screenie I have used dragon claws).

Barrows gloves and Dragon boots are too preffered, climbing boots can be used if you are not teleporting up.

Zerker ring/warrior ring are preferred. Ring of life if you are not confident.

Bring super attack and super strength potions. Good food such as rocktails/Sara brews are recommended. Remember super restores/prayer pots as the boss can drain your prayer. Teleports are also needed. You can bring a summoning monster too, this screenie shows an ice titan. REMEMBER SUPER ANTIPOISONS/SANFEW SERUMS AS THE BOSS CAN POISON YOU AND THE POISON CAN DO 16 DAMAGE!

Tank range:

Zammy Tank Range Gear

The gear is roughly the same as the melee gear. Good bolts (diamond or ruby) are recommended. Karils x-bow can also be used.

A spirit shield/obby shield is recommended.

GETTING THE ZAMMY KILL COUNT (KC)

Getting Zammy Kill Count (KC)

After you get inside the GWD you will notice that there are Zammy and Sara monsters to your right. If you brought a Sara item then it is best to get your kc here as the monsters won't attack you and you can kill the low leveled Zammy monsters such as the imp or icefiends. You can also use up your prayer here because as soon as you swim across your prayer is drained to 0.

The Big Man Himself, K'ril Tsutsaroth

After you have your 40kc, mass outside the boss room, go into the clan chat and turn on lootshare. Once everyone is ready, the group will go in. The tank goes in first and prays MELEE, the rest will follow praying MAGE. The boss can hit close to 50 through melee prayer, so the tank should stay above 60hp at all times.

The boss can drop Zammy Spears and Zamorak hilts, both are very rare and very expensive.
