Runescape Clans – Echo of Silence History

First 7 Era’s Written by Broken1. 8-9 Written by Mr_Nickos_Jr. 10 Written by Seth1711. 11 – 14 Written by Buzzcut3.

Broken1:
Founding Date: Unknown (July 2004? – Read quote just below)

Founding Members: Polixo, Xwifebeaterx, Evil Tony, Mc Creed, a few others…

EoS was formed out of Dissatisfied ZF members as an Anti-ZF clan. It’s original purpose was to take down ZF. A quote from old ZF history:

Chapter 18: The ZF Walkout Clan, AKA Echo Of Silence (July 2004)
Burnttoast65 and XwifebeaterX both had Channel Operator on the mIRC Chatroom of Zeonic Force. There were many complaints about these two members abusing their power. Lord Death then decided to remove them from having Op status in the mIRC Chatroom. XwifebeaterX and Burnttoast65 weren’t too happy because of this and decided to leave Zeonic Force and create their own clan called Echo of Silence (EoS). Two other Zeonic Force members called Mc Creed and Polixo decided to follow them and create this so called Zeonic Force walkout clan. Those four current Zeonic Force members even asked ZF’s current members to join EoS, but most of them said no. After a while, XwifebeaterX decided to make peace with Zeonic Force, contacting one of the High Council leaders of ZF.

This same day, Zeonic Force was having an event called “Survival”. They were having a good time until EoS came under Polixo’s instruction to crash this fun event. This truly ruined the peace XwifebeaterX offered Zeonic Force. Clan PK Trips started getting crashed with EoS getting demolished every time. Not long after all this, EoS had lost some of their leaders due to power abuse and other clan issues they had, until they were no more.

1st Era, What Goes Up Must Fall: In this Era EoS was a very strong, fresh upstart clan. It reached top 20 quickly and constantly fought ZF in the wild. ZF at that time was top 15 with 150+ members and 85+ hp average so they easily outclassed EoS. EoS members, rushed together so quickly, soon began arguing with each other and the flaming slowly brought EoS to it’s knees. Polixo left EoS for EoH at this point, and EoS lost many good members with him. At this time EoS was Allied with Anarchy and TDL.

Notable 1st Era Members Currently member or friend of EoS: Mc Creed, Evil Tony, D E I N O, Broken1, Master Semir, Pyrokid69, Master 4, U Gowin Down, Jrd3478, Andy4309, a few others…

2nd Era, Dark Ages: In this Era EoS was severely weakened by the loss of Polixo and many leading members. Xwifebeaterx was the leader with Sony R and Xx Ghetto Xx as Co-Leaders. This period is the ‘Dark Age’ of EoS. Xwifebeaterx, inactive because of RL responsibilites, left the clan to Sony R and Xx Ghetto Xx. The two Co-Leaders constantly disagreed and it led to a civil war in which Xx Ghetto Xx deleted the EoS forums and took over the MIRC chatroom. EoS at that point was dead. Most members took the forums Deletion as the clan being gone and joined other clans. All of EoS’ Allies, believing EoS dead, dropped alliances.

3rd Era, Re-Birth of a Clan: After the deletion of the EoS forums by Xx Ghetto Xx, Sony R made us new forums hosted by a friend of his, Shawn(sp?). We had our own .tk and things were looking well. At this time Sony R and Broken1 were both Leaders in EoS and they begun with the rebuilding of this great clan. Sony R became a clan friend after everything was running under Broken1’s command, and joined ZF. Everything was running smoothly and EoS was gaining members steadily with it’s 65+ hp requirement. In this time EoS allied with RR, DR, Anarchy, and RB.

4th Era, The Merge: Rigmar Drake, Allied Leader of ReBirth, posted on EoS forums saying he was considering shutting down RB. Broken1 suggested a merger and it was agreed upon. A few days later EoS gained a good portion of RB and Rigmar Drake became a Co-Leader. Sony R’s friend that was providing us free hosting dropped us and we were forced to move forums at this time. At this point spam became uncontrollable on the new forums. Broken1, unused to leadership, saw no problem with this. Rigmar Drake was soley fighting a losing battle against spam on the forums and gained a lot of enemies. At this time contentions started between the new members gained from the merge and the older EoS members. Rigmar Drake was Bs’d be some older EoS members and Broken1 also demoted him to regular council because of the contentions between him and EoS members. Rigmar Drake held intentions at this time to destroy EoS. Mr Nickos Jr, a member gained from the merger and one in the confidence of Rigmar Drake, clued Broken1 and EoS in on Rigmar Drake’s intentions by posting an MSN convo on the forums. Broken1 then removed Rigmar Drake from the clan. Rigmar Drake, being wronged by EoS as a whole, vowed to destroy EoS and remade ReBirth. TDL then split off into several clans, with most of their best players joining DE. EoS then allied DE. Alliances at this time were DR, DE, and RR with Anarchy having dropped alliances with EoS.

5th Era, Self Sufficiency: Broken1 went on vacation at this time to visit relatives and left the clan in the controll of Lady Willow, Mr Nickos Jr, U Gowin Down, and Master Semir. With Rigmar Drake’s intentions of destroying EoS this could not have come at a worse time. Luckily for EoS, Rigmar Drake fought mainly a cold war with EoS and eventually made peace with EoS. During this time EoS did a lot of fighting with MK, Anarchy, and EoH in the wild. EoS teamed with TDL and a few other clans constantly to kill Anarchy. Jrd3478 kept EoS wildy active and EoS grew slowly but steadily in the absence of their leadership. After Broken1 returned forums were switched to do a major inactive sweep. Alliances at this time were DR, RR, and DE.

6th Era, Growth: In this Era EoS was gaining new members at a steady rate, with many requirement raises. KoD attempted an alliance, was defeated in a fun war, and the alliance was declined. EoS then Allied with GoW who died soon after. EoS began to have constant 20+ people on pk trips and their fame grew. EoS began their Democracy at this point and began the elections of their council. During this Era EoS attended and was decisive in winning the RD vs LL allied war (Fall, 2004) that became a mass war with most every clan in RS. Alliances at this time were RR, DR, GoW, and DE.

7th Era, The Rise To Fame: In this Era EoS started miniwarring and defeating many clans. Miniwar wins such as EoS vs TMRD, EoS vs DL and EoS vs CoR Secured EoS a position in the top 20 once again. Corruption, Gladz, TMRD, DL and several other top ranked clans made themselves enemies of EoS. Many great battles and clashes of power ensued – with EoS winning the majority. EoS + DR warred Anarchy (Spring, 2005) at this point. Both teams got max options but Anarchy prevailed. Pk trips began reaching 30 people. ReBirth leader, Rigmar Drake, tired of the weight of leadership, chose EoS as his new home. Many ReBirth members followed him and made their new home with EoS. DL shut down and several of their members joined EoS as well. EoS warred TDL (Summer of 2005) at this point in history and decimated them with less than 10 people lost. Alliances at this time were RR, DR, and DE.

Sometime around here RB disbanded again, and though did not officially merge about 30-40 of their members came to EoS including RB’s leaders Rigmar Drake and Bobtheagent. There were minor internal issues, though none that perpetuated a split again.

War: Summer, 2005: EoS vs LC. 2 week prep. EoS got 75, LC got 75. LC won with 20 left.
LC died shortly after. Eos got word that they would be disbanding after the war beforehand.

8th Era, The Perfect Storm: Broken1 goes absent due to RL constraints. Upon his return (after a month+), Rigmar drake remakes RB. This time only a handful of people left Eos for RB, the majority stayed with Eos. Eos does a forum switch and wars CL.
War: Fall, 2005: EoS vs CL. 1 week prep. EoS got 65, CL got 75. EoS wins with 40 left.

Broken1 then, due to the hurricane in Florida, loses all ability to go online or lead the clan. Mr Nickos Jr assumes leading responsibilities with Jrd3478 and Lady Willow. During this time we have many mini wars, one of which that is most note-able is the following:

Mini War: Winter, 2005: EoS vs TDL + AD. 1 day prep. EoS got 55, TDL+AD got 80. EoS wins with 30 left.

It is this mini war, where the opposing team had proof of returners (TDL’s side), that possibly helped Eos the most. Eos got recognized for it’s great organization around this time. Also, note’able members from AD joined Eos when they closed (few month/s later) such as Flinstoneman (Current High Council), Kvn Pfc (Current Webmaster) and Big Parrot (Current Advisor). It was a good time in Eos, members were very confident and having a great time.

Not long after, Mr Nickos Jr decided to declare on Wg despite the concerns from other leaders in Eos. The numbers on paper showed Wg with twice our numbers, their previous war thy had 140 people show up (for a 2 week prep).
War: Winter, 2005: EoS vs WG. 6 day prep. EoS got 75, WG got 110. EoS wins with 35 left. This war was one of the best and most satisfying wars in Eos history. Us losing 40 people, and killing 110!

We continued to do well, became very popular for our organization with good reason, and kept PKing strongly with weekly fights with Wg+Fear+allies against the prominant DEoS (DE+EoS) which was a strong and active alliance during this time.

In January, TF had a war planned with another clan, but the opponent backed out. Therefore TF offered EoS war since they had already had a weeks prep vs Eos’ none. War was accepted. Eos expected TF to get over 150 people to this war. TF showing was disappointing, Eos’ was a surprise and a sign to the community as to Eos’ rise. War: January, 2006: EoS vs TF. 10 day prep. EoS got 93, TF got 105. EoS wins with 75 left. Eos won that war easily.

For 2 months, Eos mostly mini warred clans. Such as Df, Awaken, Fear, Valor, etc. Alliance with Dr was broken due to inactivity and distancing.

In March, Mr Nickos Jr retired from RS and from EoS. Broken1 followed suit, being held down by RL obligations and time restraints, and put himself as inactive / retired. Plans were to shut Eos down, but Jrd3478 wanted to step up and assume leadership, thus was granted leadership. With the leaving of Broken1 and myself, many note-able members felt no obligation to stay and help out the clan (since the leader quit, so can they?), therefore Eos lost many members in a short amount of time.

9th Era, A New Beginning: Eos currently is planning a forum switch, and a new beginning. A forum much like that during our high days. Things are looking stable, and it shouldn’t be long until we are making more noise in the community once again.
Current Leadership in EoS:
Leader: Jrd3478

High Council: Punkhazard, Flinstoneman, Lady Willow

Council: Jr Knight Jr, Kallmeray, Mariomaniac0, Prannoy, U Gowin Down, Weird Hobo, D e i n o

Advisors: Big Parrot, Bkluge, Joker316, Kidiley, Master 4

Webmaster: Kvn Pfc

Jrd3478 becomes inactive due to Rl issues. Prannoy steps up as a renewed Council member and plans several miniwars and pk trip crashes over several weeks. EoS can’t be stopped. Then, a chain reaction of bad events hurts EoS.

Inner Clan issues cause Flinstoneman to leave EoS. Punkhazard leaves EoS and joins Corruption. Jrd3478 goes on a week vacation, during which time Prannoy and Weird Hobo make another clan (Insurrection) because of the clan’s split view on EoS p2p reputation and a mass leaving ensues, bringing EoS down to about 55 Members.

Cheezy1989, Polixo (recently returned to EoS), and Astroline were appointed to temporary Council to hold EoS together until Jrd3478 returned from vacation. Jrd3478 returns and a new Council Election is held. Cheezy1989, Polixo, and Astroline all get Council. About two weeks after the clan split, Insurrection closes and Mr Nickos Jr returns to a leadership position, now co-leader with Jrd3478 and Lady Willow. Another forum switch is done, back to echoedsilence.com.

After about two more weeks, Prannoy comes back to EoS and makes his amends (recieves Council later on). With Mr Nickos Jr back as a leader, things for EoS start looking up again. Old School Members come back, who had left when Mr Nickos Jr and Broken1 had left. But again, in about a month, Lo12d Jess and most of the EoS Mage Bank Pking team leave to make a No Honor clan (Infamous Pkers), who quickly become one of the top p2p based clans on RS. EoS is down to about 55 members again, but is now left with the core members. Currently, there is no inner-clan problems at all, and EoS is a community of friends. EoS lowers its requirements to 102+ combat, and begins its growth back up to full strength.

War: November 4, 2006: 1-Week prep with Knights of Honor. EoS pulls 102 options and KO pulls 120 options. EoS wins with 30 options left. This was shows that EoS is still a force to be reckoned with, even though we only had about 60 members.

10th Era, A Rivalry Turns Dirty: EoS slowly becomes a stronger and a more dominant PKing clan despite an approximate 65 person memberlist. During this time EoS claims victories over prominent clans such as TMRD, Exercitum, and RDC. April 15, EoS arranges a PKRI with TMRD, EoS pulls 144 opts to TMRDs 160+. EoS soon wins a hard fought battle ending with 117 opts. As confidence and ability grow in EoS clans such as Exer and RDC take notice and begin to flame EoS, questioning their honor and capabilities. Combined with this constant flaming of EoS by Exer and RDC, Exer members hack EoS’ forums; thus birthing a new rivalry. Exer claimed to be a top 5 clan in PKRIs but their claims were never supported by Run-In results. EoS begins to fight Exer, indisputably winning every fight. Soon Exer tires of losing to a clan they claim to be superior than, and begin to enlist the help of their friends in RDC. Nonetheless, EoS continued to emerge the victors even defeating Exer + RDC at once. Soon, with EoS hunting them every week, Exer weakens significantly and decides to “refresh” their clan by kicking everyone and closing for the better part of a week, as a result of EoS destroying their “outmasphere”; Exer soon reopens but not returning to their former glory. EoS gets a major boost out of discovering their ability to be so powerful as to force a former top clan to close and this thrusts them into a secure position in the top 10 and reestablished their intimidating reputation as a top PK clan.

Current Leadership in EoS:

Leader: Mr Nickos Jr

High Council: Bb Blukiller, Mariomaniac0, Cheezy1989, and Goku1208

Council: Revilo143, Luckyninja, Bunga321, and Chris1234128

Advisor: Baked Goods5

Warlords: Jr Knight Jr, Boomerdabomb, and Prannoy

11th Era, A new rivalry with an old friend: EoS start getting more members and have an official war with AG, in which EoS pulls 180 opts and wins with roughly 120 opts left. EoS starts to gain steam at this time with recently destroying Exer’s “outmasphere” and an old ally, Rune Raiders, are also around the same strength. Not soon after a few brushes with RR, RR start RL flaming and on and off member of EoS for years, Tankhive2. Jr Knight Jr and Bunga321 leave EoS after disputes with others in leadership about their situation and make their own NH clan, Assylum. Jrd and Lady Willow are put to Retired Leader due to being inactive and Mr Nickos Jr is now sole leader of EoS. The EoS and RR rivalry starts heating up with both clans wanting to fight, and eventually on a Sunday RR prep for EoS and EoS prep for RR in an “unofficial planned run in”. This fight lasts for a record 10 hours and EoS come out victorious over RR, but not without controversy such as EoS having friends, NI helping, etc. A few weeks later, RR start having less and less people show up to their Sunday PK trips and EoS start feeling the momentum. Shortly after that, Mr Nickos Jr steps down as leader because of inactivity and Broken1 and Prannoy take position as EoS leader along with a fresh new Council. A few weeks later, another run in is due to happen and once again, it goes for roughly 10 hours with RR ending in lava maze admitting defeat. EoS know this rivalry is once again won and start feeling the momentum of this satisfying victory. The leadership at this time after the new Council is:

Current Leadership in EoS:

Leader: Broken1 and Prannoy

High Council: Bb Blukiller, Cheezy1989, Goku1208 and Mariomaniac0

Council: Aquariusfm, Baked Goods5, Buzzcut3, Luckyninja, Revilo143 and Urc Wolfy

Warlord: Coconutdonut and Marqouth1

12th Era, Two more rivalries to fuel EoS: EoS and VR schedule a war to and VR end up bringing a level 50 to lead them in. This being a blatant attempt to cheat the “Runehead members only” rule, EoS decide to not take it and not let the low level come. VR attack in retaliation, and thus, a rivalry is born from these ex-neutral clans. VR and EoS are much similar in accepting any wars and having a “never die” attitude, so this rivalry is certainly an interesting one. Shortly, EoS have a war with CL in which EoS brings 150 opts and CL bring 180 opts, but with EoS having proof of CL cheating, this sparks controversy and EoS decide to attack CL and make the war a run in. Within an hour, EoS force CL to stop returning and a flame war based on the validity of the proof and the tactic of “not informing CL” that it was a run in after we spammed that we would make it one. CL at this time are RR allies, and are not exactly thrilled about EoS as a clan, and EoS now have two rivalries to cope with. During this time, Broken goes inactive due to losing internet and moving making Prannoy the unofficial sole leader of EoS.
Current Leadership in EoS:

Leaders: Broken1 and Prannoy

High Council: Bb Blukiller, Cheezy1989, Goku1208 and Mariomaniac0

Council: Aquariusfm, Baked Goods5, Buzzcut3, Mommacruz, Shady666660, Urc Wolfy and Yeoldguy

Warlord: Marqouth1, Siner 69 and Sweetstick

13th Era, A loss of wilderness: EoS and VR have a run in on December 9th 2007. EoS lose the fight, and the next day, December 10th 2007, the wilderness is removed to stop real world trading and a new PKing alternative, “Bounty Hunter”, is added along with Clan Wars as a replacement. Many clans eventually cope after a week or two, but some died with these changes. Luckily, EoS is not part of the latter and soon adjust to these changes becoming a dominant BH clan within no time. EoS is now arguably in the top 4-5 and are challenging and winning against clans with 30-40+ more members. Again, the VR rivalry keeps going, although the CL rivalry slowly dies down. Soon, rules and common boundaries are applied and Bounty Hunter becomes a half decent way of PKing and enjoying the wilderness. Corruption, an old friend and rival, also start gaining momentum, as well as cockiness. Cor are roughly as strong as they were when they took the #1 spot of the clan world in summer, and are letting their ego’s get the best of them by forgetting who their friends were. A few Cor members notice this and leave Cor, and EoS also notices this and decides to not take that kind of attitude. EoS is arguably at its strongest ever here, pulling 210 opts and Cor pulling 240 opts. EoS make the fight even from the beginning never being down a considerable amount and end up winning the fight in about 8 hours. Goku1208 is soon made Leader of EoS along with Prannoy and Broken1 is moved to retired leader. Once again, EoS have a run in with VR on February 18 2008 and lose before another big change, yet again.

Current Leadership in EoS:

Leaders: Goku1208 and Prannoy

High Council: Bb Blukiller and Cheezy1989

Council: 77396, Aquariusfm, Avenge Xx Buzzcut3, Urc Wolfy and Yeoldguy

Warlord: Marqouth1, Siner, and Sweetstick

14th Era, Loss of PKing altogether: On February 19 2008, Jagex released that Bounty Hunter was not mostly single with stipulations, but these stipulations still made run ins impossible. Clan Wars was still available, meaning that wars were still possible, but that run ins were no longer possible. This caused a huge hit in EoS as EoS is a primarily PKing clan. With some convincing within leadership however, EoS decided to try and warring instead of turning over and dieing. This was a difficult transition at first with the glitches in clan wars, but in a few short weeks EoS is yet again a warring clan to be reckoned with, winning around 12 matched option wars in a row. Rivalries with Cor and VR are still apparent, but with no more PKing it is nearly impossible to kill another clan or to hunt them, so rivalries are dwindling. Prannoy steps down as EoS leader to focus on RL and Cheezy1989 gets promoted to leader, along with Aquariusfm and Buzzcut3 being promoted to High Council, and Marqouth1 being promoted to Head Warlord. Nothing interesting happens for months as it is nearly impossible to cause drama, but EoS is still going strong with 75 members and a solid group of retired members coming back for the summer. There are some rumors of Multi returning leaving hope for the glory days of EoS to return along with PKing, which EoS still adore.

Current Leadership in EoS:

Leaders: Cheezy1989 and Goku1208

High Council: Aquariusfm, Bb Blukiller and Buzzcut3

Head Warlord: Marqouth1

Council: Girlfrohell2, Gothic Steve, Rangerskee, Urc Wolfy, Zilpherest

Warlord: Empire Mind, Siner and Sweetstick

Runescape Clans – The History of The Corruption

This history was compiled by Pure Knights, Elementofice and Demonchild27 prior to being deleted. The early history by Pure Knights/Ele was later edited by Demonchild to sound more coherent. Unfortunately when deleted parts of the early history were lost (maybe 2 sections at most) however were minimal. There were other contributors but the foreword of the old history was lost and I cant exactly remember who did what.

It is a long history and a lot of effort was put into writing it, so enjoy.

The Beginning

Corruption was born when mutual friends Pure Knights, Mortamus, Clever Ninja and Sekalodnal saw an opportunity to create a clan that met all their needs. All had led clans in the past and had considerable success, so naturally the idea was united, they could make something special. The beginning of Corruption was very unique, the first war was arrange to be the Corruption leadership against a new clan lead by Viper### – the Leviathan Horde. On the day 3 Corruption leaders went head to head against the “entire Levianthan Horde”. It turned out to be a mere 7 guys, 1 or 2 of which we were too high of a level to attack. They were crushed, and after asked for a rematch in a few months, we agreed, and moved on with our business. From this point members starting flowing into the clan including leaders old friends made during earlier stages of clan life creating a dynamic and experienced member base from the start.

The Common Enemy

Like most clans, there is need for a common enemy. In Corruption’s case, the first was the Rune Raiders. The first of Corruption’s wars against the Rune Raiders, took place alongside their good friends, and allies the Dark Raiders. As Corruption and their allies met against RR and their allies, they were filled with amusement to find the enemy in full Mithril, which was ironically the Rune Raiders clan armour. Wasting no time once more, Corruption slaughtered their enemy within minutes. The most interesting part to this war was the location at which it was fought, The Bandit Camp. The war was to be decided when one side had clear control over the Bandit camp. After establishing control of the Camp, and sending RR members sending south, a strong defense was put up at the entrance to the Camp, which oddly enough worked. The war lasted a mere 20 minutes, which was short for Rs Class wars, with over 90% of RR members dead, and 0% of Corruption/Dark Raiders dead. Thus, the famous quote of “Alright, I think this sht is over” was said by pure knights, as the battle drew to an end.

Leviathan Horde Returns

LH, embarrassed from their first defeat, decided to give Corruption their promised rematch, and then declared war on Corruption in an attempt to even the score. However, they did not know that they would shortly suffer a greater loss, leading to the subsequent fall of their clan. The war was again to take place at the level 38 Altar, as most wars of Runescape Classic were fought. 40 Corruption and 10 LH met at the battlefield, and within 5 minutes LH had been defeated; and was eliminated from the clan world.

The Rebirth and End of AoD

The AoD was an old Alliance of clans. Pure Knights, being a former leader of the AoD decided to restart the alliance alongside Pure Rune, and Court of Dragons. Pure Rune and Corruption had been close allies for a long time, and when CoD was reformed with X Dragon X at the helm once again, another former AoD leader was back. The goal of this AoD however, unlike the original was not to defeat the Syndicate (now known as The Alliance, well basically the same thing anyway) but instead to dominate the upper-mid level clan area. However, trouble was soon on the rise. Pure Rune and Corruption were to have a fun war in black, when CoD members crashed the war. After this, both Corruption and Pure Rune dropped CoD as allies, and AoD on hiatus until further notice (this hiatus remained until the closure of PR).

Welcoming Runescape Democracy

This portion of Corruption’s history has little relevance to the clan world as a whole, but it played an important part in the life of the Corruption. Rs Democracy, a clan that was seen to have much potential after a victory over Corruption’s allies Pure Rune, soon suffered a great defeat to the Wild Dawgs. Twice beaten in battle by the WD, a great inactiveness swept RS Demo, and in result was disbanned. As the RS Demo members searched for a new clan(s) they were somehow naturally drawn to Corruption, bringing in a large share of RS Demo members, most of which have played a pretty large role in the clan’s life.

Making the History Books

After much success, Corruption wondered of what was in store for the future. They did not know that one of the greatest wars of RS was to take place and that them and their closest allies Lords of Chaos, Zeonic Force, Pure Rune, and the Dark Raiders were to assist Dias42 (a former RR member who left due to the disagreement in which the direction of the clan was going) against the Rune Raiders, Chaos Angels, EPK, KoD, and many others. The battle lingered on for about an hour and a half, but the true winner was clear within the first 15 minutes. This was the 4th or 5th largest war on Runescape Classic, but it did however not last long. Once again, after a short period of time (approx. 15 minutes) the victor was clear — Corruption and its allies were on top yet again. After many of the enemies members had ran, or logged (including the RR leader, FireyKnight), war crashers (which was a big phase back in RSC) showed. These crashers played no part in the actual decision, but did however make the war linger to a time of almost 2 hours.

TRWF, THE, and Gladz, and the loss of Leaders

At this point, Corruption being at its RS Classic prime and having a higher moral than ever, was devastated that their beloved leader Visual Pain was stepping down. In his place Vox0m, at the time being level 90, was appointed as leader of Corruption, alongside Pure Knights, and Clever Ninja. Not long after Vox0m was appointed to leader, problems arose. Clever Ninja was busy with school, and had very little time for Runescape. Pure Knights’ monitor for his computer broke, and left Vox0m in charge, alone. As Vox0m’s first act as leader of Corruption, he searched for a clan to war. After long thought, Vox0m made his decision on warring TRWF (The Runescape War Hungers Federation). The war was agreed upon both sides to be a fun friendly war in rune between the two sides. However Vox0m’s temper grew as he found out that Denpos1 and BoB Cob (our ally, leader of Pure Rune) was mocking his leadership capability. As a result a huge flame war erupted between TRWF and Corruption, ending the notion of a “friendly war”. Pure Rune was thus dropped as an ally. Unknowingly to the rest of Corruption, a member of Corruption by the name of K O Pker crashed a fun war held by the Gladiatorz. Furious, the Gladiatorz planned to crash the war between TRWF and Corruption. Rumors of Vox0m inviting ZF spread between many clans in RS. As the battle day came, the war ready Corruption was awaiting the enemy when an unexpected visitor, ‘The’ clan appeared. THE clan remained neutral and did not attack any of the Corruption members…at the start at least. The enemy emerged and the battle raged on, both sides receiving few casualties. Suddenly, the Gladiatorz appeared and joined in on the Corruption bashing. Some THE members soon followed the lead set by Gladz. Zf was rushed into the war to destroy the Gladz troops. In the end, the war was called to a draw, due to the crashing by THE/Gladz.

The End of Runescape Classic & Vox0m Steps Down

As the time of Runescape Classic drew closer and closer to its end, the clans of the game were faced with a new decision on which game to play. Corruption, like most other prominent Rs clans decided that they were to become a Runescape “2” clan. Soon after the mini war and the rise of the new Runescape, Vox0m grew weary of the responsibilities in leading a clan, and appointed Zeus311, an ambitious level 97 at the time to take his place. Zeus would soon become the most controversial leader in Corruption’s history amongst its own members.

The Rise and Fall of the first GA

As Corruption grew, and more members poured in, Corruption seemed to be heading toward success. One day during a pk trip, we ran into the middle of a mini war between Exercitum and the Gladz. Not knowing for sure their status towards Exer, Corruption assisted them against their rs1 nemesis gladz. Together Corruption and Exer drove the Gladz out of the wild, and a new alliance was formed; the Exercitum of Corruption. Together the EoC took their share of the P2P wild, defeating clans in p2p mini wars such as Rsd, and occasionally DI. Soon after, two new clans Mystic Dynasty (led by Raimus, and X Dragon X) and Anarchy joined the EoC. After MD and Anarchy joined the EoC, the name was quickly changed to the Golden Alliance. The aim of the alliance had also changed; the goal now was to defeat The Alliance. And that is just what they set out to do. In just one week the GA dominated The alliance on all their pk trips.

The Corruption History Screenshot

The Corruption History Screenshot

The GA’s new dominance of the Wilderness was something special. Random players were wearing yellow capes (GA’s cape colour) out of fear of being attacked. However, this alongside the fact that the GA was made of pure PKing clans brought about internal warfare. Within a short while, the Golden Alliance was to fall. After Runescape Dinasty, and Damage Inc. had considered teaming together (they were mortal enemys) to fight the GA, much tension grew. MD wanted to pull out due to the accusation of them “always relying on their allies”. A decision was made to have MD fake to pull out of the GA, but still support them in times of need. However, MD imploded upon itself, and at a pk trip we decided to attack Anarchy (as we were never on good terms with them). Once again, it was Exer and Corruption who remained allied.

Zeonic Force

After a strong and close bond, ZF and Corruption found themselves slowly drifting apart as they had no more allied wars with one another, or fun wars between each other. After several mistaken conflicts in the wild between the two clans, including one of which were the ZF leaders massacred at the hands of Corruption members, ZF dropped Corruption as an ally. War was soon declared on Corruption. Prior to the war, a six versus six mini war between Corruption and Zeonic Force was to be called, but Zf brought 20 who quickly dismantled the 6 Corruption. Thus Zeus311 informed Lord Death of Zf that it was to be an allied war. As the war date in early summer of 2004 drew near, the rumour of The Alliance (whom Zf were now friends with) possibly crashing the war came to be. In response, on the war date Zeus311 decided to ask Supa Vegeta (leader of Exer) to bring his members along to the war. On the way to the Greater Demons (the war spot) Corruption/Exer came across a group of Alliance members, of whom were quickly slaughtered. After a server switch at the Spider Hill, Corruption and Exer moved in on ZF, expecting a massive number of ZF/Alliance members. To our surprise, it was just ZF, whom Exer/Corruption quickly dismantled. Although technically losing to default, we got a good laugh from soundly defeating ZF.

The Leader’s Ignorance

Few weeks later, X D X and his members have either all left or been kicked from Corruption, but the damage was too much. As if this wasn’t enough, Corruption member Crazy Foo997 proposed the problems blaming Zeus311 in a post and therefore got kicked. Robtokill decided to join his friend and also got kicked. A week later P ko and 1hellfire1 decided to follow Crazy and also left. Zeus311 was training, Pure Knights (co-leader) was inactive, and all members with low morale. Pure Knights eventually came back, and his real life friend Chopa234’s clan disbanded so their members joined Corruption. Deathrune666 also joined Corr. But this time we didn’t have the same problems as with MD, although there were problems. Members like Runefox010, Greenfox101, and Easyez1975 joined. The former enemies of Corruption, the Elite Power Knights (EPK) had since disbanded, and reformed as the Legendary Knights. A feud between Corr and LK broke out, and a war was about to happen, but LK disbanded once again which caused the war to be cancelled. Thus, a war against Jagz was to happen one week after the Saturday the LK war was to be on. But, because only five days notice was given, not many Corr showed up on war day. Zeus311 himself was late to the war but eventually showed up. The war was won by Jagz due to Corr’s poor turnout. Within 20 seconds, Pure Knights was dead, and seconds after that many others including XhitpointzX (23 seconds) were sent to Lumbridge as well.

Though Corruption lost the war, much respect was gained for fighting a fair 1 on 1 war. Many members blamed Zeus311 for this loss. Few days later, Deathrune666 went inactive saying he was disgusted as to how Corr faired against Jagz in the war. Pure Knights went inactive again. Since Zeus311 was leading alone, Deathrune666 told Zeus311 of the problems thus causing Zeus311 to promote Deathrune666 to co-leader. Elementofice was also promoted to High Council. Members like Greenfox010 and Runefox010 ranted on how Deathrune666 only came back because he was going to get leader position. But their claims were false. At this point, members of the high council were B O O M, Deathrune666, Elementofrice, Pure_Ice89, and Bountykilla1. Im_Dabest03, Shortd00d03, Stiffler5 and 0mca joined Corruption. Runewidow also joined Corruption.

The 2nd Golden Alliance, The 5 On 5 War, and the EoH War

Corruption and Exer still remained allied after the fall of the original Golden Alliance. However, after being outnumbered in mini war after mini war, Corruption and Exer decided to call for help. Upbrother, the leader of LK was always begging Pure Knights for an alliance between his clan and Corruption. Seeing the opportunity to pick up extra bodies for mini wars, the Golden Alliance allowed LK to join.

After Exer members, alongside a few Corruption members crashed an Alliance fun war. The Alliance was . They decided to call war on the GA. Since the GA had 3 clans, and The Alliance had 4 (alongside TMRD, who were close allies and involved in the crashed war), it was 5 on 3. The Alliance, sticking to their “we’re not taking away 2 clans” act forced the GA to look for allies. Damage Inc, Anarchy, and The Dark Legends (former allies of Corruption) were willing to help. However, after much confusion upon the GA side, clans pulled out, eventually leaving just Damage Inc and Corruption left. After the consideration of fighting 5 on 2 just for our cause, Corruption and Damage Inc decided that it wasn’t worth it, thus canceling the possibility of a war involving at least 900 definite members between the combined clans. However, during this time many flame wars were waged on the Tip It forums. Soon after this, the Golden Alliance faded once again. Lk had died once again, and Supa Vegeta of Exercitum became inactive from Rs after joining Di. In late August, Corruption met EoH (after Rsd disbanded, most Rsd came here so they were #2) on a pk trip and defeated them in the run-in. EoH (Empire of Honor) members were furious as there excuse for losing was because their warlord wasn’t there.

Therefore EoH leader Tammy declared war on Corruption. Many Corruption members feared they would lose because of EOH’s power. 90 Corruption members had signed up for the war as Zeus311 put the decision on the five high council. Of the five HC, the vote whether to war EoH or not was 3-2, therefore making the nulling the war.

A Question of Loyality

Member Xhitpointzx came back to Corruption after RSD closed due to Livinlarge21 quitting runescape because he felt Corruption was his home. Zeus311 eventually went inactive due to real life so B O O M was appointed in charge for that time period. On a pk trip led by B O O M, Corr ran into Devils. The Devils were defeated on this p2p pk trip which led to Bronxie, leader of Devils, to declare war on Corruption. Blaming the war declaration on B O O M. Zeus311 came back, but this war was somehow cancelled by Bronxie. After a few weeks in November, the members of Chopa234’s old clan and him were also sick of Zeus311 and Deathrune666’s leading. They quit Corruption and went to join The Devils Clan led by Bronxie (they were rank #5 at the time). Corruption suffered many pk trip crashing by The Devils because of spies working for Chopa234 on Corruption boards. Bountykilla1 also left to Devils and Pure_Ice89 left to EOH (she said she couldn’t take B O O M’s style of leading). Runewidow was promoted to high Council by Zeus311.

Viva La Revolution

Because Corruption was falling, Zeus311 decided to take the good members of Corruption and make a new clan. Eventually Pure Knights (Dave) came back to RS and removed Zeus311 and Deathrune666’s admin powers for a day. After giving it back, Pure Knights told the high council members (only B O O M, Elementofice, and Runewidow) of the revolution and that he was going to boot Zeus311 and Deathrune666. Zeus311 was booted the next day and Deathrune666 was changed to a normal member. The week later, Corruption called a meeting on a Monday and met in Varrock castle. Old school Corruption members P ko, Crazy foo997, Robtokill, and 1hellfire1 returned to Corr. After meeting in the castle, the twenty Corruption members went to f2p pk. Corruption switched servers a few times and eventually ran into 30 EOH members and were defeated. Corruption was outnumbered badly. A few days later, Deathrune666 left Corruption because he was mad at one of our pk trips being crashed by DI (made #1 after RSD fell).

A Board Change – For Better? Or Worse?

Pure Knights went inactive again. After a week of being inactive, Corruption members Crazy-foo997, Robtokill, P ko, and xhitpointzx invited runewidow to a convo on MSN to discuss the situation, where Elementofice and B O O M were not present. Runewidow kept exiting chatroom so the members started to flame her for lacking interest in important decisions. She got quite mad and left Corr with about 10 good members and created the clan LR (Loyal Raiders led by Runewidow and Deathrune666). As a result these two members were banned.

The newer members argued:
-old Corruption members were trying to oust the authority of Pure Knights
-the banning of a new high council member was unjust
The older corr members argued:
-they simply wanted more admin and not leadership power, so that the site can run smoothly
-the ousted high council member was rude and inactive
-the previous regime run by newer Corruption members only worshipped strength, instead of old members. Many old and respected members were kicked during zeus’ time such as mortamus and so com.

As a result a new clan, Loyal Raiders, was formed from the new Corruption members. Nearing December, the five, Crazy-foo997 (James), Robtokill, P ko, Xhitpointzx(Drew), and Elementofice (Jay) created new boards for Corruption and told all Corruption to register there. Low requirements were set for the time being. Within a day of each clan’s new beginning, a mini war erupted between the two. A civil war in fact; both clans had friends on the opposing side. In the end Corruption came victorious, but LR swore that this was not the last time they would meet.

Due to an anonymous person ranking Corruption very low on Tip.it, Corruption declared war on about ten clans. However, none of the wars ended up happening, and instead, Corruption was to have a war with LC (Legendary Crew, a merge of The Crew- Rsd members, and Destiny of Legends) on P2P that very Saturday. Lc had 60 people show to Corruption’s 34, thus Corruption were slaughtered on war day. Crazy-foo997, thinking he had destroyed the clan Pure Knights had created, quit Corruption and joined Mk where he had a few friends. Pko, at the time, lost his passion for Rs and got his character banned and went inactive. Elementofice, who was feuding with the former Corruption members who joined The Devils, quit and joined Di.

An old Alliance resumed?

In early December Ar_Agorn posted that the Lords of Chaos (LoC), Corruption’s former ally led by Sally Sue and Lilchump5555 had started up again. Robtokill posted a request for alliance on their forums and it was approved. Sally Sue invited Corruption to come assist LoC in their war against the Rune Raiders, so Robtokill agreed and said that we would be at chaos dwarves until we were needed by LoC. After a few minutes Robtokill decided to move Corruption up to the gds where several of us were one hit as soon as we got their. LoC and Corruption contined to have about one trip a week until Sally Sue retired from Runescape and went to join DI.

Corruption’s New Era

In February, things were looking good for Corruption. Old members Crazy-foo997, P ko, Pure Knights, Braveboy3, and Elementofice returned to Corruption. During this time period, Robtokill asked WW (ex-LR clan led by same leaders) for an official war. As the war came, 38 Corruption attended against 25 WWW. Corruption defeated WW in a p2p fight at Rogues with no casualties. Some notes from the war:
-Deathrune666 dead in 5 seconds
-Runewidow no where to be found
-WW members using terrible weapons and armour (blue/red dragonhide, bronze, and steel arrows used, etc)
-Corruption suffered no losses, and actually walked out with more people due to a few late comers (35 walking in, 38 walking out).
Deathrune accused Corruption of cheating, without any sort of evidence whatsoever.

After being shot down by Corruption leader Robtokill, Deathrune asked that Corruption, “Just leave WW alone” (A few months later, WW disbanded). After the war Corruption banked and went out to Gds to kill crashers, but found themselves massacred by 60+ FoM, and various other clans. Nearing the end of February, DOA (led by robertwb) declared war on Corruption, but because of disagreement with Rob, the war was canceled. Robertw of DoA wanted a P2P war on 2-3 weeks notice, but Rob insisted on one weeks notice.

The Rune Raiders War

The war with DOA was called off. Instead, we would have a war with RR on the same day. Still hungry for war, Corruption looked to an old enemy from Runescape Classic: The Rune Raiders. RR being a much larger clan that Corruption agreed to the terms proposed. Corruption was expecting around 60 people to the war, RR was unaware what they’d have. The day of the battle came, and Corruption leaders were puzzled as to how only 47 people showed up. Facing certain death, Corruption walked up to the Rogues Castle to face the 75 RR members. The tactic that worked in the war against WW was used again; the “Prayer Wall”. The battle didn’t last very long, and it was clear that RR was going to win. Outnumbered greatly, Corruption members still managed to take down around 25 members of RR. The Rune Raiders had gained their revenge for the events of the distant past, and a friendship was founded between RR and Corruption leadership. As the war came to an end, 30+ RR were left standing.

New Leadership Proving Useful

The RR war was a big loss, as Corruption was now 1 for 3 in the 3 wars that took place in – LC war, WW war, RR war. As March was coming, Robtokill decided to have a war with ReBirth (Rb). Rb agreed. Thus the war day came, and 55 Corr showed up to fight against 50 Rb. Because we rushed in unexpected when Rb were still setting up, we caught them off guard and killed their leaders right off the bat. With the amazing organization Corr had and all the names being called, Corr destroyed Rb in an official war and left with no casualties. Rb gave us a clean war with barely any flaming and accepted defeat. At this point, RSC finally noticed that Corr deserved a rank in the top 20, but LK members like Zein33 disagreed. They ranked Corr at 20 or sometimes not even on the Top 20. Old school Corr members PingDing and Michaello rejoined Corr. At this time Seifer84 takes many members from his clan to join Corruption.

A Mini War turned War

As usual on their Saturday event, Corruption searched the wilderness for clans to fight. Luckily we found and engaged a clan called DeathRow (DR) and easily defeated them. After the PK trip DR regrouped all their members and managed to get 30 to show up. DR defended, while Corr charged. Elementofice, leading the charge and at the front of the charge, was dead in a matter of seconds. As Corruption charged in, the death march coming in from the East side of GDS was used; this proved successful. Corr fought back even with the person leading the charge, Elementofice, dead very quickly. As more and more DR members poured into Lumbridge, Dr claimed Corr cheated in the mini war by coming back to the fight. By the time the Corr in Lumby followed Elementofice back to Edge, word was that Corruption won the mini war. But Dr disagreed, they claimed they won by showing a pic of 2 noobs at GDS – so Elementofice asked Boygeniu for an official war to settle the score. Since both sides claimed they won, a war was the only way to go. A Few minutes later, boygeniu comes on Corruption boards and declares war on Corr. Rob accepted and the terms were an F2P war on 1 weeks notice. On war day, DR had 75 show up while Corr had 75 also so it was an even battle. As the war begun, things were confusing. Rob thought the war was to be east of GDs, but DR were dotted at the west of GDs. Thus about 20 Corr charged west to the DR death dot. Since DR only saw a few people come at them, they decided to ignore, but a few of them came out and attacked. While DR was all scattered, the rest of Corr marched in and the fighting began. Rob and Boygeniu were down in an instant. The war took up to 30 minutes, while Corr’s organization and levels overwhelmed DR. DR had constant members running from war and this cost them dearly. Once again, the Dr that had died and ended up in Lumby claimed Corruption cheated and started flaming. However, Boygeniu accepted defeat, but many DR members were still mad they lost.

Corruption Retaliates against Dr Badmouthing

DR started to fall. About 10 of their good members left to join a stronger clan. DR changed boards, and Rob took advantage of this and got spies on the new DR boards. The purpose behind the spies was to see how easy getting a spy in was, but then Rob noticed all the flaming DR does on their private boards, so Rob declared another war on Dr to prove that Corruption was in fact the best. Many Dr Members saw this opportunity at revenge, but Boy was smart and decided to decline war because DR needed more time to regain its power. But Rob didn’t stop there. Rob used his spy and gained access to DR pk times on Dr boards. When DR pked on a Friday, they had 18 show up while 30 Corr were death dotted at GDS waiting for them. As they stormed in, the 18 DR were massacred. Some were killed, most ran. DR was furious on boards as to how Corr knew they were there. Former EoS member Tankhive2 began to make useless posts on RSC trying to start more drama between the clans. He claimed that it wasn’t an official DR pk trip. Corr accepted this fact and crashed DR’s next pk trip, the one on Saturday, one day after the first crash, and this was official. Most of their high lvls came and DR had 32 while Corruption dropped to 30 when the fight started. As DR rushed to GDS led by boygeniu as a mage, boy got 1 hit and the rest were all down in a matter of 10 minutes. Tankhive was spotted running down to chaos dwarves once 5+ Corruption piled him. DR morale was dropping dramatically. DR members were willing to do anything to get revenge at Corruption, but were powerless to do anything in their weakened state. Tankhive continued ranting on RSC making a post entitled “Is crashing pk trips noobish?” which caused another flame fest on RSC between DR and Corruption. At this point, Corruption’s presence was noticed and Corruption were ranked near 15 on RSC. It was now the end of April, and Corruption was back up to 143 registered members. Former DR member Grandslayer1 and former LK members Lancer3000 and Cloud Straif joined Corruption. A mini war between Corruption and EoS erupted, with the almost exact same reasons as the Dr mini war. Like the Dr mini war, both sides claimed they won, but unlike Dr, EoS wasn’t in the same league as Corruption, so they didn’t declare on us. The flaming between Corruption and EoS continue, as Tankhive becomes the leading factor behind this feud.

An Alliance? Or Perhaps a War?

Corruption and the Rune Raiders have been on good terms since after the war we had. Thus RR agreed to have an alliance with Corruption. Interestingly enough RR were also allied to DR and EOS (who were allied to each other as well) but assured their allies it would not affect their relationship. Dr and EoS members were uneasy about this and hoped it would end the feud between Corruption and Dr/EoS, but it wasn’t that easy. Corruption and RR started having allied pk trips. At the same time, Rebirth was closed by Rigmar Drake and Bobtheagent. Rebirth members were free to go anywhere, but most followed Rigmar and joined EoS. Now that EoS gained thirty plus members from Rebirth disbanding, EoS started to show signs of bravery , rumors of a declaration on Corruption were imminent.

The Moment of Truth – The Top Ten

Rob decides to declare war on – THE’ clan, which is ranked number eight on most peoples’ lists. This war may, perhaps prove Corruption is worthy of a top ten spot. But Rob was too ahead of himself. On war day, 65 Corruption showed up to fight the 110 THE. Corruption was overwhelmed by THE’s levels and organization and thus lost the war. There was a miscalculation in the Australia/NZ times so around 10-20 Corruption showed up to the war an hour late thus missing the war however it was a defeat we accepted. Although Corruption had lost the war with THE, Corruption now knew what needed to be worked on.

Retaliation Against Alliance Clans

RR has been getting stronger than ever. The Jaguars clan has been going around looking for official wars. They were planning to war RR, but since they said they couldn’t trust RR, the war never happened. Instead, Jaguar leaders came on Corruption boards and declared war on us. Corruption would have one weeks notice to Jaguars’four weeks notice. On war day in late May, 73 Corruption showed to fight 80 Jagz. The fight took over 25 minutes, but after that the victor was clear. Corruption had won the fight with over 100 options left. Many Jags members claimed Corruption cheated after, but these claims all came with no proof. Lucca, Jags’ leader, finally accepted defeat and moved on.

A New Clan on the Rise

As the summer of 2005 grew close, the Titans clan came into power. On a pk trip Corruption had, Corruption ran into Titans pking at spider hill and had a strong victory over them. It was at that time that Corruption became interested in Titans. Titans was a clan that had a very fast rise in members and as such was more unstable than usual clans at the time. Many members kept flowing in to replace those leaving and so Corruption used this opportunity to send spies into the clan to intercept their PK trips. Titans suffered many pk trip crashes by Corruption in the early summer of 2005. On some of these trips, small amounts of RR tagged along, resulting in Titans claiming it was 2 clans vs. 1. The Titans clan founder, HarveyTian, even came onto Corruption’s boards trying to stop us from crashing any more Titan’s pk trips fearing the worst. However, Corruption did not hinder. Crashing continued. A week or two later in June, Corruption leaders decided to have a war with the BlackDragons (Bd) due to a few Bd members ranking Bd higher than CoR on Tip.it. But, on the war declaration post, Corruption member Volt Kreuger called Bd “Black Dicks” which seemed to have offended Bd very much as they declined the war with this being the reason. Instead, a four day planned P2P mini war against Mk was to happen that very Saturday. Mk has lost some power, so on war day, 60 Corruption members showed to fight 60 Mk at rogues. After about 15 minutes of fighting, Corruption remains victorious as 18 Corruption members survive and walk down to edge. At this time, Rigmar Drake and Bobtheagent decided to leave EoS and remake Rb, taking a good 25-30 members from EoS. Broken1, EoS leader, also decided to go on a two month vacation, putting EoS out of being able to official war for two months.

Mk’s Retaliation Attempt Failed

After Mk suffered a loss to Corruption in the mini war, many questioned Mk’s power after losing so many members and now losing a mini war to Corruption. But Mk members didn’t just leave it at that. An official war with Mk was to be held in July. As war day approaches, after two weeks of preparation, Corruption pulls 90 members to war against Mk’s 73. The war lasted almost 20 minutes, with Corruption claiming the win with about 160 options left standing. However, on war day, DoA (Mk’s allies) were south at Chaos Dwarves supposedly €œkilling runners'”. After the war ended, the remaining Corruption forces head down to Chaos Dwarves and killed about five DoA before the rest ran south and down to edge. Corruption were now planning to crash DoA’s pk trips for interfering with their war with Mk. DoA pk trips were now being crashed by Corruption. On most of these crashes, DoA had less than or about 20 members, which resulted in an easy crash by Corruption almost every time. DoA members were now very frustrated with what Corruption was doing. MK accused CoR of cheating but were quickly shot down, even Di officer Bibbleboy posted saying he had watched the war and that Yamataka was just making stuff up because she couldn’t accept the defeat.

One day DoA were crashed by Corruption in P2P which resulted in them asking for a mini war. Corruption agreed and headed up to GDs where nMe waited to crash the war. Robtokill tells Home Boy that the war has been crashed by nMe and that CoR are weakened by fighting off the nMe crashers. DoA still head up and attack the remaining CoR members, a memorable moment is Home Boy PKing Realo25 for a whip then immediately being ko’d for it by Robtokill and Seifer84. This mini war provoked CoR into strengthening their campaign against DoA.

The Alliance Comes to an End

The Titans crashing continued, but this time, Titans decided to even the odds (or did they?). Titans started bringing their allies Dr on the pk trip to counter the Corruption crashes, and it succeeded. Due to bring two clans on one, Corruption suffered a few losses to Titans and Dr. Titans even once massed 360 options (120 options of Titans, rest of Dr and friends from other clans) just to kill a standard 120 option Corruption pk trip. Rr helped, but barely. At most, ten Rr members assisted Corruption against Titans and Dr, which didn’t help much, so Corruption and Rr were massacred by the full force of Titans and Dr. Around this time, Rr started to fall. They had lost one leader and went from 300 to 200 members in a week. Titans, seeing this as an easy win, declared war on Rr. Rr, in a very tight spot, still decided to accept the war. As war day came, 90 Rr fought the 120 or so Titans, and lost horribly. Corruption tried to defend Rr, but it was clear Titans had won the war. Crashing continued. More and more Corruption trips were now being crashed by the full forces of Titans and Dr. Repeatedly Corruption would mass 50 people to aid RR in their fights whilst RR would struggle to get more than 15 to help Corruption. Thus, since Rr as was not helping out at all, Corruption decided to drop the alliance with Rr.

A War Loss and Members to Remember

Corruption continued crashing DoA pk trips. After crashing a DoA pk trip, Corruption banked in edge and went back out on P2P to pk again. At gds, Corruption ran into Anarchy pking, which resulted in Chronic, the one leading Anarchy, being 1 hit on the spot, but Elementofice, the one leading Corruption, surviving. After the loss Anarchy suffered, Chronic declared a P2P mini war on Corruption. Corruption council and Chronic discussed the details in a conversation on MsN, but nothing was agreed on, as Chronic wanted the P2P mini war to be inside Red Dragons. Therefore Anarchy leader Chronic got flamed by the Corruption council. However, Anarchy did not stop there. The other leader, Ambersky, came onto Corruption’s forums and declared an F2P war on two weeks notice. As war day grew closer, Anarchy and Corruption fought in the wild a few more times, with most of the run ins being victories for Corruption. On war day August 20, 113 Corruption showed to fight the 125 Anarchy. Anarchy being the clan that outnumbered us by about 10-15 in the first place AND having a 2-3 combat average on Corruption defeated Corruption with around 20-30 members left standing. A few Corruption did claim Anarchy cheated, but in the end, Anarchy claimed the win. On the same day, members Crazy-foo997, (James), Elementofice (Jay), P Ko, and Mass Pudd (Jake), have made their decision to quit Rs due to real life. The significance of these members was considerably large:

James was one of the original five who re-made Corruption, as were Jay and P ko. Jake later rejoined Corruption but was also an old-school Corruption member who has helped Corruption a lot in its past and is still here. P ko has since returned under numerous roles, currently HC

A Break From Wars and A Board

After the loss of the Anarchy war, Corruption leaders decided to sit back and just work on the members and organization instead of warring. During this month of solitary confinement, Corruption members worked on organization and trained, and after the month ended, Corruption is back with an 87hp/105Cb average and 165 active members. It was at this time that spies from Corruption found out about DoA’s plan and that they were plotting against Corruption. DoA leaders were planning to give their members 3 weeks notice then declare a two day planned mini war on Corruption. However, Corruption found out so were prepared. On September 17, a one day planned mini war against FoM (Followers of Malkav) was called. On war day, 70 Corruption showed to fight the 75 FoM. After 15 minutes of fighting, Corruption wins losing only ten people. 60 Corruption walked out alive. The mini war was fought well with respect, but that night, Corruption’s boards were hacked. The details involved a hacker (who is suspected to be SLayerOfTime, an ex-CoR who got kicked) getting a hold of xhitpointzx’s MsN account’s password, and thus found his forum password. Xhitpointzx account, being root admin, and, deleted the forums and changed all members to validating. Luckily, Rob was on at the time managed to get rid of the hacker before further damage. For the next few hours, the Corruption leaders and HC got all the forums and members back in order and fixed everything. DoA, seeing this as an opportunity to take a cheap shot towards Corruption changed their plan. Instead of the 3 day preparation they declared a 6 day prep P2P war.. Corruption accepted, even though suffering a board the night before.

DoA’s Cheap Shot Backfired

After the hype up to the war, Rob couldn’t handle keep his information to himself and decided to post all the evidence about the truth of DoA on RSC. The evidence was undeniable and this stunt ruined DoA’s publicity. Enough said, the war day approached. On September 24, 110 Corruption showed up to fight the 120-125 DoA at rogues. After 15 minutes of fighting, and supposedly nMe crashing, all DoA were dead, and Corruption walked out with around 200 options (100 options led by Afi_023, 82 led by ChazOvHul, and another 10 or so members scattered around wild killing nMe). DoA tried to claim Corruption cheated by bringing nMe, but even nMe admitted they were attacking both sides, and all the pics showing DoA AND Corruption dieing in nMe’s hands. nMe’s attempt at framing Corruption failed. Corruption had truly won the war regardless of whether or not nMe crashed. DoA started to respect Corruption now and to put the past behind them, but crashing would not cease. Corruption also vowed to crash nMe pk trips.

SCUM (nMe) get payback.

A small amount of corruption, Led by XhitpointzX began to destroy everything SCUM did. One particular tactic created was to set up fake DM’s and wait for SCUM pjers to attempt to kill the Dmers then rush in, kill the PJers and vid the entire thing for evidence. Corruption regularily crashed lure trips and generally hunted for SCUM on p2p trips. This lasted for around a month before the clan fell into hibernation and eventually they disbanded.

Anarchy, Rematch.

After a couple of months Corruption were, as usual, looking for a fight, Anarchy popped into there sights once again, This time it was to be a p2p 1 day prep miniwar, Corruption gathered there forces and started with around 200 Opts on the day, Anarchy started with 280 opts, However they were ill prepared and badly experienced in p2p wars, Corruption destroyed Anarchy’s force with ease, winning with well over 150 opts, The main reason it was so easy to beat anarchy was due to the lack of equipment anarchy brought and the poor organisation, a HUGE amount of Anarchy were ranging withlow range levels and in very poor gear, while 90% of Corruption was melee’ing with proper gear, whips, etc and the other 10% that WERE ranging had the appropriate gear and levels to handle it.

FoM 1 & 2.

Corruption found many more short prep wars, including two against Followers of Malkav, The first was to be a 1 day preparation Miniwar on f2p, FoM were ill experienced in f2p and although they started with around 10 more people then corruption (240 opts to 210), Corruption won with minimal casualties (less then 10 Corruption died).

A few weeks later FoM decided that they could take Corruption in p2p, the place they had the most experience, Once again the numbers were in FoM’s favor but once again Corruption proved victorious, losing approximately 20 people in the war.

An attempt at the top.

Corruption hadn’t had a war in a while and were desperate for some action. (a while being a month or so) After asking around they eventually had to aim for some of the top clans for anyone to take them on, So they struck a war agreement with Gladz, It was to be Corruption + Jrs vs Gladz (Corruption Jrs had JUST started and consisted of around 15 – 20 lvl 90 – 95’s), The war was 4 days prep and come the war Day, Gladz had Maxed options, Corruption pulled approx 330 Options with there Jrs, Corruption fought hard but suffered a defeat.

Taking on a Country.

Corruption Leaders got word of an unknown country clan that had just taken down Anarchy in a full out War, Corruption wanting a battle decided they’d be a good choice, Once discussing with LF leaders war agreements were worked out, a 4 day prep with them, Corruption vs LF, Standard f2p rules. On the war Day Corruption pulled an impressive 340 options (considering the prep, that was around 70% of the clan) and were confident of a win, However as it came time to battle corruption got word of the enemies numbers, An astounding 150 people in just 4 days of preperation, Corruption of course lost the battle to LF, LF winnign with around 150 Options, There numbers simply taking the battle.

SA 1 & 2

Silent Assasins, a once powerful clan had been reborn, they were now around equal, if not better to Corruption’s stats on paper, Corruption leaders felt they’d be a good challenge and so they setup a short prep miniwar of 3 days, It was a weekday fight and so the turnouts were expected to be less then impressive, Come war day Corruption had 280~ Options while SA only managed to pull a little over 200, Corruption outright won the battle without any issues with a majority of there force in tact at the end. SA felt that this war was not fair, as it was on a week day, so the night the first war was finished a new war agreement was struck, there was to be a war that Saturday, just 2 days away between the two clans (2 wars in 1 week), Once again the war day approached and Corruption marched onto the battle field with around 300 Options, SA again only managed to pull a bit over 200 options and were slaughtered. Corruption had truly proven that they were the stronger clan.

Allies.. GAH.

In a move of nostalgia, Robtokill decided that it would be a good move to ally with a clan named Divine Forces. Both clans had helped each other when in need and thus Corrupted Forces were born. CF had many dominating victories as CoR took DF under its wing. Many people commented on how alike the clans were. Sadly this alliance was not to last as DF made the decision to drop all its allies around 2 weeks later. This greatly angered Corruption and as a result we turned on DF, crashing their PK trips causing a decline in the clan. After awhile, Robtokill , following a conversation with DF official S T O D, agreed to stop hunting DF and let their clan rebuild. It turned out to be the worst decision of Corruptions history.

Outclassed at last.

In a first in a LONG time for corruption, they had been outclassed in a War, The war being a few days prep against Runescape Dynasty, Corruption pulled 345 Options, RSD just 330 Options, Giving Corruption the numbers advantage, However RSD had EXCELLENT Organisation and an AMAZING level average of 120 Combat (corruption’s being just 112), The fight lasted well over a hour, the tides turning on who was winning all through the fight but in the end, RSD came out victorious with around 50 – 60 Options left. Corruption had been outclassed for the first time In almost 18 months.

Anarchy Round 3

Since there miniwar win against Anarchy Corruption had aimed to get an official war win against there foes in order to even up the score and prove that we were truly the stronger clan now, However Anarchy had declined due to various reasons in the past, Alas after many months Anarchy made a comeback, They’d gotten to 210~ members with around a 113 Combat average, Corruption had just 165 Members and a 114 Combat average but that wasn’t to stop them, Figuring that while Anarchy had the paper statistics on Corruption they’d likely accept, Corruption once again declared and SUCCESS, Anarchy accepted. The war was to be a 1 week preperation war, with a VERY long rules list, This was the most closely watched War corruption had ever had, Nothing was to go un-noticed, The rules included 3 neutral vidders for each side to vid from the gather time to the end of the war, a HUG list of rules and a main rule of “If any member breaks a rule, they are to be booted from there clan, If the amoutn of rule breakers is qual to 50% or more of your ending opts, then you lose by default. The war day came and Corruption had mustered 360~ Options, falling short of what they had hoped for. Anarchy managed to muster maxed options, leaving them with the numbers advantage by 15 or so people, However that wouldn’t stop Corruption, Corruption marched to the battlefield, setting up there defence and awaited Anarchy to storm them and for the battle to begin, The battle lasted around 20 – 30 Minutes, Both sides fought well but Corruption was just too Organised and experienced in the end, They finished with an amazing opt count of 160~ Opts, Not far off half there force when they had started outnumbered. Further-more Corruption had NO cheaters at all, Not a single corruption broke any of the stated war rules. Corruption had proven once and for all that they were the better clan.

The Corrupted Reborn

In late December 2005/Early January 2006 Robtokill decided to remake Corruptions former Jr clan, The Corrupted, using it’s 15 jr members (a sort of original FA so to speak). Assigned to lead it was Volt Kreuger and Seifer84.

Volt Kreuger set about making The Corrupted forums with the help of Mass Pudd, and Seifer made the arrangements for the transfer of JRs from the Corruptions boards to their own. Volt Kreuger and Seifer agreed on 90-104 combat requirements. The next day the transfer was made and Corrupted were their own clan.

Volt and Seifer had a convo about what to do first, it was agreed that before we start to PK Corrupted would be drilled for a week. Seifer and Volt held a drill every day of the week so Corrupted would have some experience of our leadership. After the first week Corrupted had grown a bit in numbers and started to PK. Seifer worked hard on getting spies into smaller clans to bully so that Corrupted would have a successfull start in the wilderness. Volt Kreuger set about organizing some fun wars and PK trips.

Corrupted’s first test of strength and leadership was in Cj’s Tournament hosted on RSC. Corrupted did very well in it, placing 2nd overall lvl 90-105 loosing to TMRD in the final round. After that corrupted was now well known and in came a flood of applicants, now Corrupted was on a roll, now for there 2nd test of strength and leadership, Weekly pk Trips, Weekly pk trips where started and did Very well, pulling 30/80ish members to an hour or 2 prep. After getting stronger with around 130 members, Corrupted started to go after The Futures, The’s jr Clan. We faught tf 3 times in run in’s being severly outnumbered(anywhere from 90-120 opts) Corrupted won 2/3 times. Corrupted had Several wars and mini wars with an excellent Record. Official war’s with clans such as:
Lethal Blades
Master of Dragons
Blades of Serenity
Cut Throat Syndicate
3v0lution
B0rn

Countless mini-wars with:
Demolition
The Death Monkeighs
Divine Forces
The Unforsaken
Torment

Then after about 8 months of Corrupted’s birth, Corrupted finally was disbanded. Seifer84 had to go inactive due to his cafe he owned. Seifers inactive caused Corrupted to get a new leader, Being ‘Hardyboys22’ and later ‘tfc lebanat0’ due to some problems with Hardyboys22 he was demoted later on, and in his demotion he caused alot of problems, and wasnt allowed back in Corrupted or have anything to do with it. After this happened Robtokill yanked every single Corruption member out of there, which assisted majorly in its disbandment. A couple months later Volt Kreuger had to go inactive for 2 solid weeks and during this inactive Tc disbanded, As Seifer84 and Leb wern’t active enough to keep it alive.

Corrupted’s First Enemy

Corrupted, like Corruption soon found it’s first rival, a clan called Demolition. DM had crashed Corruption in a mini war against ‘THE’ clan and been slaughtered, not keen to let it go Seifer decided to crash them and get some pay back. Unfortunately the crash didn’t last very long, because Corrupted members were calling with “corr” DM fled thinking it was Corruption attacking them, after that we agreed that we’d call with “TC”.

After the crash DM’s warlord, Ripperoo and Leader, Saula13 invited Seifer in a convo. Saula began to flame Seifer and accusing him of being a bully. Then 5 minutes later asked for an alliance. Volt Kreuger was invite dinto the convo and not to long afterwords Seifer left stating that TC would be crahsing everything DM did until they died.

Seifer went to work on getting a spy on DM’s boards, and did so an hour alter by breaking into the account of Wtxprog. Wtx had leaders boards access so TCs leaders had access to their rivals plans. Volt and Seifer spent the next few weeks crashing DM any time they tried to PK, Saula cancelled all PK for DM until further notice.

The next day Saula wiped his boards clean and put a Corrupted banner at the top of DMs forums, then accused Seifer of their forums. Since Seifer had access to their admin CP it didn’t look good. Robotkill helped Ripperoo rebuild DMs boards and orders TC to lay off DM for a bit.

Riperoo messages Seifer later on in the week and informs him that Saula is planning to put a spy into TC. Seifer logs check to see if the spy still works and it does, Saula planned to send a spy into TC and draw them out into the wild to be attacked by his entire alliance.

Mass Pudd and Seifer decide to take the bait and go pking. 90 ops of TC stood at the GDs waiting for Saulas alliance. For whateever reason, one of the clans in his alliance attacked on it’s own, with no trouble TC dismantled it and moved down to the CHaos dwarfs to take on the rest. 90 ops to 170 TC walked out with not a single death.

Saula gets desperate and asks for a mini war with TC. DM cheats and posts a video of themselfs cheating, later they go into a shut down and die off. Many of it’s members join Corruption and Corrupted.

Enter Divine Forces

After an extensive period of rebuilding, DF once again begun to challenge Corruption during PK trips. To begin, CoR were every bit as strong as DF gaining numerous wins. However, in a bid to beat their former allies, DF continued to grow in numbers and experience quickly. This resulted in DF gaining wins over Corruption during PK trips. Corruption members argued that DF brought friends to their fights and used less than appropriate items (coining the term “dragon hide forces”). These claims led to heated arguments between both clans over RSC and as such created the beginning of the largest modern clan world rivalry.

At this point in time Corruption had suffered a string of 2 consecutive losses to DF and as such suffered for it. The leaders decided to focus inwardly on activity and members instead of fighting DF. In addition the gear and people fighting for DF was considered questionable and many members did not agree to fighting a clan willing to go to that length to gain wins.

DF claimed to have put Corruption in their slump, and there is an element of truth to this however overall DF played a very minimal part in this section of Corruptions history.

TRWF War

For some time, Corruption had been in a huge slump. Some blame fell on the FA systems clans were now using to mass options on PK trips. Some on the fact that months of fighting clans such as DF + all their friends had taken it’s toll. TRWF, after months of mass recruiting finally decided to offer Corruption a war, in it’s most weakened state since the rebirth in 2004. Corruption, never backing down to a fight accepted the impossible war.

The fight was over before it had begun, Corruption troops were killed by the overwhelming number of TRWF.

Anarchy, the 4th Slaughter

After the TRWF war, Corruption searched for for another clan to fight, unexpectedly, Anarchy was to be that clan. Pure Knights and Chronic24 set up the war at Chaos Dwarfs on short preperation.

On the day Corruption pulled 220 ops, Anarchy 240. The war lasted about 12 minutes, Corruption walked out with over 170 ops remaining.

The 5th Anarchy Battle

Corruption and Anarchy are to have another mini war. Corruption was slowly getting out of it’s slump. On the day Corruption and Anarchy meet with about 240ish ops either side. Once again Corruption walk out with a substantial surviving force. Chronic24 now refuses to ever fight Corruption. Bjcal26 is sent in to spy on Anarchy.

The Damage Inc. War

Corruption had worked hard and was now out of their slump, whats more with 191 members and a 116 combat average. Eager to show the clans world thatthey were once again top 5 material Corruption searched for a war. Chopa234 (who was leader) makes multiple declarations on RSC, no clans answer. Impatient on waiting for responses on RSC, Seifer84 contacts Ghjjf and sets up the war over MSN. The rules were to be

No Friends
No Running
No FAs
War to be fought at members gate
1 week prep

Corruption also agreed amongst themselves that if they won with less than 50 options they would agree to null the war due to the heavy amount of crashers that there would be.

Corruptions sign up goes extremely well, with 140+ members signed up in just over 12 hours, Di are rumored to have problems getting people signed up.As the week passed by Corruptions sign up list became bigger and bigger, Corruptions morale is at it’s highest.

After a long and tense week the war day finally arrived. Whilst gathering for the war Ghjjf messages Seifer and informs him that TD have hacked Di’s forums. Seifer asks if he’s still ok to proceed with the war and is given the all clear. Ghjjf is also asked if he wants an anti crash team, but refuses the offer.

Whilst setting up for the charge Ghjjf messages Seifer again and tells him that EoS have killed him whilst leading the Di force up. Seifer asks if the war is still ok to go ahead, Ghjjf says that he will head back up and the war will continue as planned.

Finally after many disturbances Di finally get set up with 357 ops, Corruption have 399 with 150 people. Ghjjf gives the all clear to charge and so Corruption begins it’s deathmarch. The fighting is intesne to begin with, either side systematically knocking off the others leader figures. Ghjjf and Seifer set up anti crash groups between Di and CoR.

As the war leans more and more to Corruptions side, Ghjjf begins to send Seifer messages about how the crashers were only targeting Di (even though RoT would later post pictures of them killing members such as Robtokill, Born Kill and many others). after 40 minutes of fighting Corruption ends with 120 ops, Ghjjf blocks Seifer on MSN.

Corruption claim the win, however Ghjjf has told all Di that Seifer had agreed to null the war if it was crashed, then later denied that he had made the comment. Despite the controversy this war was a turning point for many reasons. Firstly it is to date the largest number Corruption has ever brought to any event. Secondly it was clear that Corruption were back, and stronger than ever.

Our Leader

Under Chopa234 Corruption began to thrive. Chopa’s dedication to the clan was almost unrivaled. Due to his ability to be so active, Chopa was able to take charge in the leader role and maintain the active state of 190 members, the highest member count for any clan at the time. This led to Corruption excelling during PK trips, easily pulling 100 people to shorter trips. With the numbers advantage and increasing organisation under strong leadership, Corruption was able to set their sights on bitter rivals Divine Forces. The first encounter Corruption suffered a defeat, unable to return to fight as much as DF – with the fight lasting over 10 hours. However the turning point arose when a 6 day prep PK run in was organized. Corruption took the chance to hype the fight up, and take a resounding victory.

Leaders at the time were Chopa234, Benfica slb and Ottawa. HC: Radicalsufu, Bishycool, Punkhazard.

New Officials

On a high note, Chopa234 steps down from Corruption leader leaving 2 in charge. In response Pure Knights returns to a leader/advisor position, and with Ottawa promotes Pearsaregood (former moderator) and Demonchild27 (oldschool rank) to High Council. In addition Legend 23 and Macca081 were also promoted to warlord alongside already flourishing warlord Andy4309. Member Abomnt was given HC but members were outraged as he had only been apart of the clan for 1 month. Abomnt did not want an angry member base and thus set himself down to warlord. However the damage had been done and despite his clear knowledge and intelligence, Abomnt took a clan friend rank and went inactive.

At this time, DS the number 1 clan for over a year shocked the clan world, closing. After its reign of dominance, many members left RS completely, however a large portion left to join DF giving them a massive power boost and thus aiding DF in gaining hard fought victories over CoR.

A new leader

Following the intense battles between DF and CoR, Ottawa decided it was time he stepped down, to pursue extended RL studies. He had a choice of leaders – one being Radicalsurfu – a HC who had confidence in leading during PK trips and the other Demonchild27 – who had the ability to organize and inspire the clan both before and after hard battles. Ottawa along with Benfica slb and Pure Knights decided that the best choice was Demonchild27 and thus Demon was promoted to leader.

It was later (months later) discovered that Radicalsurfu planned on quitting Corruption if he was not given leader at this point in time. However he stayed on , after speaking with Benfica. Be this as it may, a very big problem was created as Rad began to dislike Demon and was jealous that he was promoted to leader before him despite not being a HC for the same length of time.

In the wilderness Corruption kept up the challenge of beating DF. At this point in time DF was considered number 1 with Corruption number 2. As the fights continued, many RSC users began to meld ranks 1 and 2 because the gap between DF and CoR was closing fast. Corruption maintained the pressure and begun to achieve strong victories over DF. 300 starting, 300 ending was a favorite phrase as Corruption would start and end the battles with 100 people (300 options). While wins were exchanged, eventually DF lacked the numbers to return in PK trips, with Corruption defeating them in less than 2 hours followed by less than 3 hours. It was this final win that not only marked Flintstoneman’s (arguably DF’s best warlord, respected by CoR) retirement from DF, but Corruptions accession to number 1.

With Benfica slb commanding CoR in TS and Demonchild27 maintaining a standard of excellence, activity and dedication from the members Corruption were able to command supremacy at the top of the clan world. High Councils and Warlords, notably HC’s Andy4309 and Radicalsurfu, could not be faulted leading with confidence and ability in the heart of fire – taking Corruption into a new age and fulfilling a dream created nearly 5 years ago.

The alliance fights return

Corruption was now the number 1 clan. As such we managed to build and maintain an active base of 200 members. Similar to DS (although DS was in a league of their own) clans refused to fight Corruption. CoR was forced to crash clans and fight 2v1 to get PK trips. Clans like DF, EH, VR, DI who were all considered in the top 5 would team to fight Corruption. Due to the lack of fair fights or challenging 1v1’s Corruptions numbers began to drop to levels around 160.

At this point in time, sensing a chance to strike back DF once again began to try fighting Corruption. To begin CoR held them off with victories but DF managed to also gain wins. A great deal of controversy was created as anti crash teams (aimed to keep clans like RoT and NI out of the fights) began to get involved. EH and VR would kill Corruption members whilst EOS and DI would be called to eliminate EH/VR. Overall fights became a mess.

As a result Corruption declared a 1 week prep PK run in event against DF. In addition CoR organized for DI to prepare to be on hand to kill the Acing clan who were expected to ruin the fight. DF in response had VR and EH gather and planned on bringing them to the fight. What resulted was the largest runescape clan fight to ever exist.

There were two sides of the alliance.

On Corruptions side:

CoR
DI
Titans
Collision (allied with TT)

On DF’s side:

DF
VR
EH
CL
SE

NH clans including RoT and NI sided WITH Corruption due to DF crashing and killing them regularly. They fought alongside CoR’s alliance but were not included with the team.

The preparation was intense to say the lease. On the day Corruption pulled max options and a member count of 143 people. Coincidentally this was the last time any clan would ever pull max options in the wilderness. Quite an impressive achievement.

The fight itself was a mess. The charge was made by CoR, DI and CT. Demonchild27 led the clans in and was 1 hit by range before any dots even appeared on the map. This led Ghjjf to take control and rush the DF alliance who outnumbered CDTC due to the extra clan.

To begin, CoR’s alliance with Corruption at the helm took control of the fight, driving DVECS to regroup more than once. However as the fight went longer, CL (being an Australian clan) gained numbers whilst DI started to log off. This left CoR’s alliance severely outnumbered. After an extremely long battle Corruption’s team was left defeated, with only CoR, TT and Col left returning.

Whilst being defeated, Corruption were proud to have been apart of the biggest fight in RS and been the strongest clan out of all performing. Despite the loss bonds were formed between all clans involved, leading to many more alliance fights in the future. Corruptions alliance winning almost all of the due to superior clans (CoR, EoS, Col, TT, DI against DF, VR, EH, CL, SE).

At this time Andy4309 was promoted to leader. Andy has and always will be the most talented wilderness leader Corruption has. His command took Corruption further than they ever have been in terms of organisation. The respect he had from every member was clear and his insight into tactics as well as empathy for others made him the perfect choice to lead next to Demonchild and Benfica.

DF were the only clan strong enough to defeat Corruption 1v1, however never got the chance to fight.

In a move that rocked the foundations of Runescape, Jagex removed the wilderness for good – forcing clans to migrate to either clan wars or bounty hunter. Mostly all clans moved to BH as returning was allowed – but this move caused almost death for Corruption due to the enormous issues that went along with the move.

When Jagex eliminated multi and created the BH many members of CoR, dismayed went inactive or left RS completely. These were people who had stuck by the clan for years and each was sorely missed. Dispite this the clan looked promising to begin with. However, with the need for new officials to compensate for inactivity, it was up to Andy, Demonchild and Benfica to promote them. The hardest decision was the new high council, with the leaders torn between Roguejedi88 and Radclsurfer (the brother of Radicalsurfu). In the end, Demonchild moved for RJ and was backed by both leaders. However Radical was so infuriated by what he called a bias decision that he threatened to quit. The leaders were quite surprised at Rads streak of jealousy, and in a move to quell emotions and retain both Rad bros, promoted Radcl as well , in effect giving into blackmail.

In a time with the pressure of having to adapt to the new wilderness after being one of the oldest clans in RS – cracks began to form, particularly in the leadership group. The events which took place during this time were possibly the closest the clan has ever come to death.

Radicalsurfu, who had been overlooked as leader finally began to publicly show his dislike and jealousy at being left behind at HC while Demonchild was promoted above him. This was primarily done by talking behind Demon’s back , rumors which members took to heart and thus this jealousy and dislike was transferred to members – while Demon still lead oblivious.

Rad argued that Demon was bias, singling him out say he had chosen to promote RJ over his brother on purpose. Also claiming he favored members over himself as a HC. These were easily disproved and Rad was silenced but the feelings of resentment remained.

Eventually this treason was brought to Demons attention and to solve the problem he called a leader meeting via teamspeak. At this meeting he offered anyone the opportunity to air problems they have with the leadership group, an indirect way of letting Rad speak. However Rad kept quiet so with co-leader Andy, Demon brought Rad into a private conversation and speaking directly to him asked to sort out the bad blood immediately, with a goal to move the ordeal behind them.

Rad pretended to be AFK and frustrated Demon quit TS. Following this Radical ) and his brother Radcl stepped down from their HC positions. They did not tell the members why, instead when asked they continued to lie about Demon claiming he was killing the clan. Sick of the lack of faith or trust, Demon prepared to leave the clan – however at the 11th hour Pure Knights and Tfc Lebanat0 returned to take action. TFC with backing from Dave kicked both Rads from the clan and after lengthy discussions convinced Demonchild to stay on. Andy4309 also almost quit the clan.

The shock hurt the clan immensely with members leaving, others questioning the truth and this was reflected in the wilderness. Due to the Rad bros selfish and jealous actions the clan was at the lowest point in 5 years forced to rebuild once more. What’s more it was left to Demonchild to clear his name and show the members who the true leader of the clan. It was a task he was up to and soon enough gained support. Demon used this to bring the clan closer together as a community, urging everyone to band together in the hard time to stay strong. The strong Corruption spirit did not fail the clan and it never has nor ever will.

CoR struggled to keep up with 10 hour fights and pulling good numbers. Despite controlling fights on even numbers, clans knew they could simply keep returning to earn wins and this was what happened almost the entire time BH was used for PK’s.

The next step in Jagexs plan saw BH wilderness also eliminated and Clan wars became the new focus of clan fights.

This suited Corruption perfectly, as while the dominated even fights, they constantly had difficulty returning for 10 hours. Now all that was needed was around 1 hours time to attend wars.

CoR started off very successfully with wins over clans such as DI and EOS with around 70 people to each fight. After such success, clans started paying a lot more attention to Corruption , therefore CoR turned their sights on DF once more, challenging them to a weekday fight with 2 days preparation. In this fight CoR brought 73 people, outnumbering DF who had around 65 – although having a much larger member base and holding strong in the BH wilderness. Corruption won this fight and DF members later were quoted saying that being outnumbered by CoR was an “embarrassment”.

This war was followed by another on the weekend as DF sought to redeem their loss. Two wars were held, a full out and a matched. DF had far superior numbers and so pulled 100 people, CoR on the other hand had a successful turnout for their member count of ~85 people. The full out was won by DF however the matched was the true story, as CoR had always claimed on even numbers they could match every strength DF had. This was proven as DF was defeated once again on even numbers.

After a truly low point, Andy and Demonchild alongside oldschool officials such as xhitpointzx, tfc lebanat0, robtokill, rj had turned the clan around.

Matched wars during the weekday became very popular. Corruption dominated these and began to form strong bonds with old school clans such as RSD and Titans. Using each other as practice CoR began to develop heightened PKing skills allowing winning streaks of over 10 in a row to build up.

This was culminated with the clan wars tournament where Corruption was placed in the top bracket. CoR finished second only suffering 3 defeats. The last two wars Corruption had were won outnumbered. Cor defeated VR whilst being outnumbered by 13 people and Titans whilst being outnumbered by 10 people. Two victories nobody thought would ever happen.

Overall:

From humble beginnings we have built up to an incredible power. It has been a colorful history and one that will continue, our legacy will always have a part in Runescape forever and for years to come. We fight together every day, we enjoy Runescape for what it is. We are proud to represent the clan we love, we do the clan name justice every time we step into a fight.

Corruption is an underdog clan. Anytime the odds are stacked against us we instantly have a better chance at winning. We never give up, no matter what and that’s why we are the oldest and most active clan that is still around and always will be. Our members have some of the best spirit in the game. We have been through mass leaves, officials leaving, changes rocking the foundations of the clan we love. We have been told we are dead or dying too many times. More times than anyone knows, yet here we stand, still ranked within the top 2 after 5 years. Corruption has been within the top 5 for the past 3 years. There is almost no clan that can ever touch what we will always have.

Runescape Clans – The History of The British Elites

Please Note; this history is merely a sum up of the important events in TBE that have lead to make the clan what it is. There is a much larger and happier history to TBE, but that’s far too long to write.

2004-2005

Before TBE was created, The British Legion (TBL) was being co-lead by Ltx_Tinman and 13lack_Gore. When it became increasingly obvious that 13lack Gore wasn’t active within the clan, Tinman decided it was time to leave and create a new clan called “The British Elites.” When he left, he took five members with him: Barf ii, Chakugan, H8ted, Pure C0ober and Nitr021. Tinman and those members collectively made up the leadership of TBE. Finally, on July 3rd 2004 The British Elites was born.

The requirements to join TBE were 75+ combat. TBE quickly started to gain success on RSB and therefore received many applications, all of whom were eager to join a British based clan. As TBE gained more members, they began warring and achieved rank one on RSB. The rank one spot went back and forth between The Black Dragons and TBE; it seemed as if they were the best two friendly clans on RSB at the time. Soon though, some of TBE’s council started to have trouble and had to leave the game. H8ted and Nitro21 were the first to go and were replaced by Uberoverlord and Shiviscool. After another month went by, Barf ii and Tinman found that they couldn’t pay for membership anymore and had to step down from TBE as it was a P2P based clan. It was decided to hand the clan over to Buttons17. On New Year’s Day though, Buttons retired from TBE and handed leadership over to Pure C0ober. He never really wanted to control TBE and left soon after getting the position. After Pure_c0ober left, he gave the position to Spawn_69er. Spawn placed spies in The Black Dragons clan and ruined the friendly relationship the two clans had. On account of Spawn’s actions, he was hacked and therefore quit RuneScape. After Spawn quit, Summersort took over leadership. Unfortunately, he also left TBE after deciding to follow his friends to another clan. The next leader that would take up a shot was Sangy4jen. He tried to merge TBE with “Breakthrough” clan. The leader of Breakthrough was Ishard. They both decided to keep the name “The British Elites,” but they changed up TBE leadership, adding in some of Breakthrough’s leaders.

After awhile, Ltx_Tinman (co-founder/deputy leader) came back to just check up on RS and see if it was any better. He found that TBE was still alive and wanted to try and help keep it going again. Ishard wasn’t happy about Tinman’s wanting to take over. They both argued about who should lead, but Tinman eventually took back TBE as leader. TBE was doing as good as it was before. Unfortunately, Tinman quit RS again and TBE consequently collapsed and closed down.

Towards the beginning of 2005, Zak45, a former member of TBE, decided to try and reform TBE with some friends and ex-clan members. Zak was successful and soon TBE was gaining a lot of momentum on the RSB boards and appeared one of the strongest RSB clans at the time. Their main Allies were The Chilled Out Wargamers (COW), and as both clans were on GMT time, they decided to have a fun FTP Mithril war in preparation for the tougher full out wars that laid ahead. The war itself involved TBE defending the greaters with COW attacking. Even COW gave itself no chance of winning the war. TBE had the numbers, levels, and experience. Sadly poor organization and complacency were TBE’s failure that day. COW destroyed TBE, with one person from COW dying out of approximately fifty people. The entire TBE clan was sent to Lumbridge in shame, which was a big shock for everyone concerned, including COW who couldn’t quite believe what had occurred!

The alliance collapsed shortly afterwards, TBE fell into a lot of in-fighting and Zak45 couldn’t continue as TBE’s leader due to real life issues, so he closed the clan.

Once again another faithful member of TBE decided that such a great clan should not be forgotten and tried to revive it. Magic_frog1 started TBE once again. His first member and friend in real life was Dark wyrm. Magic_frog1 and Dark_wyrm were the main leaders and Liola2 and Junglebiscui were assistant leaders. They made the requirements at 90+ combat. However, due to pressure of school (G.C.S.E’s) and the slow realization that RuneScape was starting to be a bore, Magic_frog decided to leave.

Finally, it came to the point where Junglebiscui had to make a decision either to let TBE die once more or take over and keep it alive. Thankfully, being the legend that he is, he decided to step in and take over. Behind every man’s success is a strong group of helpers. The other council members that were promoted when Jungle got leadership were H2o101 and Goofi.

H20101, who was a long time member, helped with whatever he could and was a big inspiration around the graphics department.
Goofi provided a mature influence for a long time. He was an adviser to the clan, was very helpful and also active.
Upon seeing TBE restarted Zak came back to TBE, he provided a continuous reality check and helped found the new regime at TBE.

Junglebiscu’s promotion to Leader is probably the most important event EVER in TBE’s history as he set about dragging the clan up by the scruff of its neck. On December 4th, 2005, he created this clan forum. For the first few months of his leadership he set about stabilizing TBE and getting a strong council around him so the clan could prosper.

2006

In April 2006, Jungle decided to open up his own channel on IRC. Seeing as Zak_45 was no longer adequately being an administrator of the previous channel (#British), it seemed the right thing to do. The channel Jungle created was #British_Elites.

On June 3, 2006 TBE changed their requirements to 95+ as the clan was growing stronger.

A week later(June 10, 2006), something tragic happened. Darkriotcher and Joosua90 (both council at the time) were forced to leave the clan on a bad note. Joosua90 said he lent his party hat to Darkriotcher and accused Dark of stealing it. Dark however said he didn’t take it. Both of them were very important within the clan and helped significantly in raising the standards. When the occurrence happened though, there were arguments arising within the clan. Some clan members believed Dark stole it, and some believed Dark was innocent. Eventually, the arguing caused both Dark and Joosua to be forced out of the clan. There just wasn’t enough evidence on either side of the argument to prove anything.

A while later Lillefigo died and ended up in Lumbridge where he ran into Joosua_pur3. They had a conversation and there lillefigo learned the truth about Joosua. Joosua told Lille that he had been at duel arena and staked his party hat. If he won, he would have earned a red party hat. He was sure he would win but instead he lost. Joosua was ashamed to admit he had lost his party hat at the duel arena so he made the whole story about Dark stealing it up. After learning the truth about what happened, Dark was reinstated within TBE and today is back into leadership.

On June 27, 2006 The Future Elites (TFE) were created. TFE opened up as TBE’s junior clan with the requirements set at 75+. At first, it seemed as if TFE wasn’t going to be as big of a hit as council thought it would be, but as TFE went on more and more applications started to soar in. With the help of many TBE members, TFE was a success.

Throughout the summer of 2006, TBE’s community soared and seemed like it was the place to be. Leadership included Junglebiscui, Benthereaper, and King_cheung as main leader & H2o101, Doddseyone, Skilban, Murkynight, and Fishin_cook9 as assistant leaders.

A big event in the summer of 2006 was the B0rn war. TBE defeated B0rn on 8/26/2006 to achieve their long term aim, which was to be the number one ranked RSB warring clan.
TBE starting 282 / ending 200.

TBE had always aimed to be the best clan in Runescape and with this wonderful win over a seemingly unbeatable clan the question of “what happens now?” sprung up. Thankfully TBE became part of Runescape community and decided to try and mix it with the “big boys”. This was an important step for TBE as we didn’t want to sit at the top of RSB feeling we were invincible only for a young hungry clan to knock us off.

TBE quickly realized it would have to buckle up and change its ways, which included starting to recruit off Runescape Community forums, giving TBE a pool of higher quality Runescape players, who had the experience and knowledge to push TBE closer to greatness.

Consequently, TBE took measures to try and populate the under-used clan forums. In all, the clan’s general direction centered on stability, including the creation of a mentoring system to vet and train future clan members. Council promoted around 10 members that excelled and gave them the job of training up new members. This system enabled TBE to boot out inactive FA’s before they hit the main membership of the clan.

A vagrants system was also introduced to keep control of clan discipline which for a time seemed to slip as a result of mass recruitment.

On September 6, 2006 Crisbduck of The Death Monkeighs approached TBE for an alliance between the two clans. TBE accepted with no hesitation.
After starting to focus attention on RSC, TBE deservedly attained a low ranking on the Top 50 RAW list, where they started setting about making an impact amongst the premiere Runescape clans. As an initial test they had a war with anarchy (01/10/2006) and were badly mauled, in a short prep PTP war. This was to prove a huge and beneficial wake up call to TBE, which made them realize the importance of spamming, hugging, and organized warfare. A close defeat against the Runescape Elites followed shortly afterwards, but clearly TBE were improving.

Though, TBE made a mistake in concentrating on RSC and taking its eye off the ball as far as RSB went. An up and coming clan called White Dragon Warriors declared a Full Out on us, with TBE choosing to concentrate on Runescape Elites war, we weren’t prepared for WDW. Their superior member list not being given the respect it deserved resulted in a humiliating defeat for TBE. A tremendous break for TBE came though when RSB nulled the war based on a lot of WDW cheating, meaning TBE Kept their RSB #1 rank.
However Mr. Jack the RSC RAW manager allowed the result to stand despite the fact it was an RSB war NOT an RSC one, and gave WDW a position on the RAW list based on the result, though he did admit he needed an extra clan to fill a gap in the list and WDW had warred recently!

TBE felt it had a point to prove and Doddseyeone bravely declared on White Dragon Warriors for a re-match to settle the issue, this was the bravest decision EVER by a TBE War Lord after we got smashed in the first one.
The war took place on the 17th December 2006 with TBE ripping WDW pieces.
TBE Starting 354, Ending 300,
WDW Starting 280, Ending 0.

Immediately after the victory King Chung announced on RSB TBE’s intention to Leave the RSB ranking system and concentrate on RSC. This meant TBE finished 2006 on a high, and looked forward to an exciting 2007!

Before the New Year, a few events took place. Fishin_cook9 left TBE and therefore opened up a place for Assistant leader and events coordinator. Mandy306 was quickly promoted to fill Fishin’s spot. Forest4ever was also promoted to assistant leader to help with the growing member base. Another exciting change made to TBE was the requirements. After winning the WDW war, TBE decided that they should higher their requirements and raise their standards. Therefore, the requirements were changed for 100+ combat on December 29th 2006.

2007

On the 3rd of January 2007, Doddseyeone left the clan to go to Eternal Honour followed closely by Skilban a week later. With two council members and our only warlord leaving, it meant positions were open. AlynDavies took the warlord position and Eleannah and Shacas were both promoted to assistant leaders. Alyndavies pushed to get our RAW rank higher, so he discussed a possible war with many clans. Finally, TBE agreed to war Masters Of Dragons on October 2nd, 2007. TBE performed magnificently, winning easily taking rank 24 off Mod, and finally having a rank that befitted our status as a clan.
TBE Starting 306 / Ending 207
MoD Starting 213 / Ending 0

A big factor that helped TBE pull the win off Mod was the fact that TBE just got Teamspeak. Before the war, council frantically tried to get as many members to download TS as possible. In the end, it seemed to help drastically.

Two months after the war with MOD, Forest4ever and Eleannah both decided to step down as assistant leaders. Apple_tree93 and Windchase7 shortly replaced them though.

Around mid March, several members of the TBE Leadership started pushing for us to move from a community focused clan, to a pking one. After much debate it was felt the majority of the clan wanted to stay a community. Eventually this lead to the clan leader JungleBiscui making an announcement that would change TBE forever. He told members that they would try to make a split, but that TBE was still going to stay community-based.

This period was probably one of the darkest in TBE’s history which eventually led to mass leaving by many of TBE’s members and even council who felt they needed to experience these huge wildly fights that a clan like TBE wasn’t capable of providing. The split was only going to be resolved one way and sadly between the 24-26th of March Leaders Benthereaper and Doddseyeone left for The Titans along with stalwarts like Alexotec, Kwazy349, Skilban, Zodiaracer, Doom126 and many more rank and file members, leaving only Junglebiscui as leader and Darkriotcher, Murkynight, Mandy306, Apple_tree93 and Windchase as assistant leaders. Therefore, the council quickly promoted AlynDavies, and Darkriotcher to Leaders and Minninan as assistant leader.

During all this upheaval TBE had a war with THE Futures, which they barely had a chance to focus on due to all the internal difficulties, thankfully the majority of people who intended to leave the clan came back for one last hurrah. An emotional TBE annihilated TF in a badly needed moral boosting win. TBE faced an uncertain future with so many loyal and important members leaving altogether, those that were left to wonder if the clan would survive the next few weeks, without so many who had built this clan.

As the weeks passed and the discussions about leavings died down, TBE actually recruited more members back from The British Devils due to their own problems. TBE therefore didn’t appear any weaker to the other RSC clans. This gave the new Leaders time to bed in and the clan chance to get used to all the changes.

TBE soon decided that they were getting too many low-level applications and wanted to keep getting stronger so the requirements changed to 105+ on April 9, 2007. Soon after though, on April 24, a new application process was introduced. The application process would now consist of people applying for FA status, receiving a mentor for two weeks and then applying for full member status.

With pk leaders such as Shacas, Whitenightc, and Danc2006 evolving, TBE was starting to get better at the pking side. To help members who excelled in pking and wished to do it more, council came up with the idea of Team Demolition. Team Demolition was TBE’s pking team and was opened on May 12, 2007. Any full member with 110+ combat could apply for team demolition. The team became an overnight success. Team Demolition was able to take down entire clans with much more options than they themselves had. The most noticeable of these were the fights with TSC and K0 who despite the obvious number advantage TD beat with ease. Thanks to the team’s success There was a limit of 40 people, as we didn’t want our community to fade. Therefore, there was a waiting list to join TD. Every now and then even TD had to have an inactive sweep alongside of TBE’s.

On June 9, 2007 The British Elites fought their long term Allies The Death Monkeighs in a full out war. For several weeks TDM had been unable to find anyone to war, their 300 people member list being to intimidating for most clans. TBE approached TDM for a fight having heard of their problems. Luckily there wasn’t any incidents before, during or after the war and it all went well. TBE also TBE managed to pull off a good win despite being outnumbered. This was an especially important moment for the clan as it was the first we won a full out whilst being outnumbered.
TBE Starting: 246 / TBE Ending: 138
TDM Start: 315/ TDM Ending: 0

Soon after the war with TDM, on June 11, 2007 it was decided by council that the IRC channel needed more moderation to it. With this in mind, ‘Moderators’ were made. It was determined that Moderators would receive half-op in the IRC channel and hopefully help keep decency within the channel. The very first moderating team included: Cpjuk2us, Samdimples0, Mcicepit, Goldenboy173, Crawf0, and Dexxa12.

In July, Apple_tree93 decided to step down as assistant leader and warlord. This left open a vacancy and that’s where Lillefigo and Unionjack4 stepped in. Lillefigo took over the rule as assistant leader and Unionjack4 got the position of warlord. Jammy_Jay1 and Unionjack4 successfully got many wars for TBE. Another big event that happened in July was the alliance of TBE and Wilderness Guardians. His_Lordship, a leader of WG approached TBE and asked whether we would be interested in an alliance. We gladly accepted, seeing as they are a similar clan to us community and pking wise.

With another summer bringing TBE tons of members, it required a bigger leadership. Therefore, Shacas was promoted to leader and Magicmatt22 and Matthew2899 were promoted to assistant leaders. Matthew2899’s job was to help out with the relationship between TBE and TFE. He helped coordinate events between the main and junior clan.

On September 16, 2007 TBE fought and defeated NG.
TBE got back on track with a great performance against Northern Gods. TBE’s starting opts were very impressive and took control of the fight with superior organization. This war is especially important to TBE as it was the first which TBE had pulled over 100 people to a war since our RSB days. For months after this war TBE pulled over 100 people to wars constantly. In fact we had more people come to our wars than any other clan on Runescape at this time.
TBE Starting 315 / Ending 162
NG Starting 270 / Ending 0

On October 28, 2007 TBE had a war with Lithuanian forces.
After getting back on track TBE was ready to push its gears up another notch. Our warlords declared on the Lithuanian Forces for rank 8 on the RAW list, TBE was set to finally take its place among the top 10 clans. Little did we realize that as well as getting into the top 10 TBE would pull 375 options, that’s a grand total of 125 people, a mere 8 off the maximum options on Runescape. This war is definitely one of the wars to which TBE’s standards are set against. Not only did we finally break into the top 10 at last but we did in style by breaking our own record for the most people pulled, also being the only clan on Runescape at that time getting over 100 people to wars.
TBE Starting 375 / Ending 180

In October and November of 2007, Alyndavies and Minninan decided to depart TBE. Windchase7 soon took over as leader whilst Whitenightc and Dexxa12 received assistant leaders. TBE was doing fantastic in the sense of maintaining equilibrium with community and pking sides. This all changed in December 2007 when Jagex decided to take out the wilderness. A lot of TBE members quit due to the lack of interest without pking. Our pking side crumbled, as did many other clans. TBE retaliated though and promoted Fin438 as PK leader to help alongside of Shacas. 3 other assistant pk leaders were promoted as well.

2008

The British Elites’ council had been discussing requirement changes way back in November, but after Jagex ruined the wilderness, council were forced to hold back on the requirement change until 2008.

As time went on, TBE started to grow back in strength and looked forward to being in the top 10 clans. Finally on the 19th of January 2008 it was decided that TBE requirements would raise to 108+ (ftp) combat. Council along with members agreed that to be a top 10 clan, we needed to push forwards with our requirements.

On February 4, 2008 a new system for keeping track of inactive members was introduced. At each event, a screenshot would be taken and then posted in a leaders section. Certain leaders would record who went to what event and then total how many points they got at the end of the month. Community events such as King Black Dragon were 3 points. Pking events were 5 points, Sign up PK’s were 7 points and finally wars were 10 points. At the end of the month, if members didn’t have a total of 25 points, they would either be warned or booted from TBE. An additional decision that was made in February was to go back to 105+ combat. TBE council decided that there was a lack of applications at 108+ and wanted to hopefully build our member list back up into shape. Other events that occurred in February include Sandstormer0 and Bottoms15 being promoted to assistant leaders after Cpjuk2us stepped down and Lillefigo got promoted to full leader.

A project that was long awaited on was finally finished on April 23, 2008, the intro site! Darkriotcher designed a majority of TBE’s intro site along with Mystical_Jin assisting him. The intro site was a huge success, only getting good feedback. The intro site contains many interesting stuff such as information about TBE, videos, a picture gallery, links to the main site & runehead, and lots more. Additionally, Murkynight stepped down from assistant leader and Mystical_Jin took her place as application manager.

In June 2008, TBE went down hill. Many leaders went absent due to trips and personal reasons. Junglebiscui, Lillefigo and Windchase7 were all absent for over a month at the same time. Therefore, before Junglebiscui left he promoted Mandy306 and Magicmatt22 to Leaders & A_Man_eater and Wardle69 as assistant leaders. Even if the clan was introduced to new leaders, some council was inexperienced at leading and most went inactive. When Junglebiscui came back, he was desperately looking for help. He no longer had the will to run the clan since it was looking as if it was falling apart. Luckily, with the help of Mandy306, Murkynight, Lillefigo and a few other members, TBE was able to pull through the drought. Murkynight was promoted back to assistant leader, and later in the summer Windchase7 left TBE due to personal issues.

During the summer of 2008 TBE had one goal in mind and that was to improve our organization. At the start of the summer, it was less than respectable due a lack of PK leaders, luckily a new string of people came through the system and made TBE’s organization good enough to beat clans who were ranked much higher than us. By September we had fought virtually every clan outside the top 7 and beaten a good majority of them. Although TBE started to decline on the RAW list, council and members still held their heads high, proud of the community TBE had. At the end of the summer Wardle69 left the clan but Kerim18 quickly replaced him.

On October 12, 2008 TBE allied with Red Dragon Knights (RDK). A leader from RDK approached Junglebiscui about becoming possible allies. Seeing as RDK were a very similar clan to TBE, being GMT based, and pulling roughly the same opts to wars, TBE gladly accepted. The main difference between TBE and RDK though, was that RDK were really good at p2p wars while TBE excelled in f2p ones. TBE council got together and decided TBE + RDK would be a strong force with the new pvp updates that Jagex promised the Runescape world.

November was another hectic month for the clan. Two of TBE’s Assistant leaders Bottoms15, who was also a long standing and established warlord and the latest addition to the Council Kerim18 who was a PK leader decided to leave the clan along with several other important members including elite members and pk leaders leaving with them to join another clan. Batikill1 and Molly Max, PK leader and warlord respectively were then promoted to Assistant Leader. Blacktroop2 was chosen to replace Bottoms15 as Warlord meanwhile Scottish duo Fin438 and 1_Bad_John were promoted to As PK leader.

Unfortunately, again in early December 2008 the consideration of closing TBE came up. Although council members didn’t let members know it, it was under deliberation for over a period of about a week. TBE had always been the same, getting to a peak and then just regressing down due to high rank members leaving. In this case, Junglebiscui and many other council members just had enough. Jungle made a post in leader’s news and the debate started on what to about TBE. It was immediately noted that none of the council members wanted to resort to having to close. Therefore, with careful planning council decided to try and rebuild TBE again. As decided, rebuilding was just what the council aimed for. One road block in the plan was The British Crusaders (TBC). They were constantly being thorns in our paths. TBE and TBC constantly were at each other’s backs and the topic of warring TBC was controversial. Some wanted to stay away from them, and some wanted to get them back for what they did to some members. Some members wanted to war them, and others didn’t. The end result of the controversy was to just not war them at all. TBE council tried to enforce members ignoring any TBC insults. All in all, TBE finished the year strong with very successful daily PKing trips.

2009

In the early January 2009, TBE was in need of more pk leaders. Lillefigo was the main pk leader but needed some help, so beside him got promoted 1 bad john as pk leader & Vampyre195 and My_pa1n as assistant pk leaders. TBE continued to have split hairs about whether they should focus more on pking or the community. While all this was happening, Mandy306 decided that she would like to switch roles, leaving the event coordinator position open. Samdimples0’s suited the position best and was promoted to assistant leader and events coordinator. Mandy306 switched to applications manager and continued to be a leader of TBE.

As history quite clearly shows us, TBE will always come back and we’ll do it in style. We’ll be bigger, better and stronger than ever before.

Runescape Clans – The History of Chivalry Legions

This history has been written by past and present members/leaders of The Dark Chivalry, Legendary Knights, Chivalry of Legends and Chivalry Legions.

TDC – Part 1

It all started off in early July 2004. Goku, Rukano and Dezza had all just restarted rs again because RS2 had come out, and we were fairly poor.. probably had about 400k gp each, which we thought was rich. So me and Rukano went pking, and we pked full rune! We were like.. WOW! We just increased our bank worth by 20% each, we need to do this more often. So in our cocky style, we continued to pk but could barely kill another full rune as they’d always escape. We then invited dez along, so it was 3 of us. Still, we could not get a full runer.

It occured to us that we needed more people to PK with us, so we came up with the idea of making a clan to pk with. The Dark Chivalry, the first idea brendan came up with was the only one we ever used. He made us a decent site, well organised and Dez made us some good forums. We started off with 5 members, Goku Nazz (lvl 81), Rukano (lvl 80) and Dezza69 (lvl 78), Purekao604 and Pure Pensa. Purekao was kind enough to set us up with alliance with The Midnight Warriors, who helped us to become what we are (led by Elucin8er and Exbajalator).

So off we went.. us 5 guys pking, recruiting people as we went along. After about 2 weeks we’d gathered around 10-15 members, but still only pulled about 5 or 6 to pk trips. But at least we started getting some kills, not full rune, and hardly ever full rune, but we got mage kills.

Still in our training times, we met many people training, and asked them to join and they gladly accepted. By the end of August TDC had gathered around 25 members, and started to get rune kills on PK trips. Requirements were then made of 70+ HP, or 67+ HP with 70 magic or range.

In October 2004, I wanted to quit everything in RS and just pursue smithing. By then, we had 35 members, and Rukano was busy with Uni so he had stepped down as leader too, so I asked Oded Neaman to lead but he refused. Dezza was then the sole leader.

For 1 week he tried to keep the clan alive.. unsuccessfully, then announcing The Dark Chivalry as dead.

I was never a man to see something I had built die, so I decided to come back, restart TDC and set new goals. I made our major goal, to have 20 lvl 100+. TDC still had no level 100’s, and it was not until Oded Neaman that we got our first lvl 100. The next day, I got lvl 100 also, so we had 2 of us. The rest of the clan thought we were gods

For most of November I didn’t really do anything due to exams etc, but when school ended I got this show back on the road. Dez made us new forums with a kickass skin, and we shot it off with the return of Rukano, and me as the sole leader. I didn’t let Dez lead coz he’d just killed off the clan.

Me and dez went to queensland at the end of December, and came back to a exvibrant group on clanmates, but still with only 25 members. It was not until about January 22nd where TMW allied with Afroclan led by Deviation 2, and TDC with only about 10 members pking bumped into Afro and lost. They called us a “noob clan” and disrespected me as leader.

Ha, big mistake

All of TMW were angry at the decision, and many people from TMW came to TDC. We grew rapidly over the next week to 50 members, TMW hanging over the edge with about 5 active members, and both TDC and Afroclan preparing for the official war that was to be.

After collecting about 70 people for the war, Afroclan pretended to not know the war was on at the stated time, and forfeited. They demanded a rematch. The next day, a rematch was held, even though we were outnumbered, TDC ended up winning and that was our first official victory.

After that, activity was at an all time low. Active people such as Howyodoin, Al Drippy2 and Wazzup All left for Anarchy.

What made matters worse, Dez was angry at me for not giving him war general, and told all the clan lies about me being in Kingdom of Brookmere (which were false and was proved false by me later on), and betrayed TDC with Klone74 and they both went to Zeonic Force. The clan was left in pieces, everyone began to believe Dezza’s bullshit story and began to leave, the worst.. Biosfire.

Biosfire (TDC war general) deserted the clan and made his own clan, GK (Grand Knights), and people such as Mazvis11, Rex432 and Wikedmagic followed him. TDC was in pieces…

TDC Part 2

School had just started for Goku, and he didn’t have much time to do work for the clan.
We had 20 members, only those most loyal stayed, such as Chapman334, Smelly Ghost, Duelist Z, Pure Pensa etc..

Duelist was made War General, Smelly Ghost was Clan Advisor and Chaps was an elder. I thought to myself.. this is an awesome leaderboard, we can go far with this.

From every day forward, we started to PK. Duelist had many friends, and his friends had friends, until everyones friends and their friends knew about TDC and pked with us. We’d start to pull about 20 people to each trip. Things were looking up. Dez decided to come back, without leadership, Wiked and Rex decided to come back after GK was proved wrong and TDC looked to be the powerhouse in the wilderness that it once was.

Things were great, TDC had just reached its goal of having 20 lvl 100+ members (mostly thanks to Duelist Z and his recruiting). In March 2005 I recruited Swordsman 85. This friends Imacrackers and Drivehard also joined. They were a great help, recruiting many people and being as active as anyone can be. Swordsman was our first lvl 110+.

In April 2005, I went on a trip to Italy, leaving Dezza in charge. I came back, hated RS, and left Dez to permanently leave, saying goodbye to all my clan mates in May 2005.

Then.. disaster struck. Dez had been overtaken by what I think was Satan, and started kicking random people and fucking up the forums. LK being our main allies were there to help, but Dez having Root Admin destroyed everything TDC had ever made or done. He declared the clan dead, I couldn’t believe it.

TDC then merged with Legendary Knights to form LDK (Legendary Dark Knights).

Once again, I had seen with my very eyes Dezza destroying TDC, for the third time. Enough was enough, I had Ollietank and Chapman to help me resurrect TDC. We talked about it for a couple of weeks.. we knew it would cause trouble with the LK leaders who didn’t really respect me, and we didn’t know if people were willing to come back.

We decided to go ahead, Chapman made the new forums on June 3rd 2005. Both me and Chapman led the clan. People such as Ollietank came back, Eldar fusion, Wikedmagic, Dezza69 and others returned. I couldn’t believe the response, in their heart everyone still wanted to be in TDC. After getting back about 20 people, I thought it was enough to start seriously pking. Over many pk trips, we met ex tdc members, and convinced them to rejoin. Suddenly, at the start of July, TDC was back up to 60 members and had a really active feel to it.

LK was in the shits, leaders were doing nothing about it and I didn’t want to see our main allies fall just like we did. Me and Free Deem discussed some tactics, we decided that to make CL would be a good plan. Holy Lordz didn’t like the idea, neither did anyone else. They waited another week, nothing happened. They agreed it was best that they made CL.

Now look at us, we have a VERY active clan community and we are unstoppable in the wild. Everything in the past has led up to this great moment, now we are the Chivalry of Legends.

Legendary Knights Part 1

LK was created in June of 2002
It all started when i was level 34 i had a friend that was level 50 rs name timmy arch that i asked if he wanted to start a clan. A real clan not those scam clans that newbs do were you have sombody give your 3 best iteams and log out. A real clan one that would be fun active and would help each other out in the wild. This was back in rs1. At first we didnt know what we were doing i thought up the name and it fitted perfectally. We started a web page on Geocites listing all the clan members and the leaders. I appointed 7 leaders people that were on my friends list. The 7 leaders as i remember were

Joedirt12345
Kind breed
Timmy Arch
Tri Minute
Upbrother

I would use tip.it to try and recruite people my first enemy was MOD master of dragons clan it was a strong clan back when LK was being created. I flamed all over there forums and said that LK would become strong and crush them. I lead it for about 3 months then Timmy Arch got rid of me

Timmy arches betrayel
I tryed helping with the site at the time it was being created i messed things up because it was all html and i had never used html before. Timmy arch got mad at me and stole LK away from me created a site on avidgamers and thats the last i heard of him. Timmy arch didnt lead LK very long he made an allience with Runescape Demoarchy which was lead by martial arts.

Creation of EPK
I then went in search of a new clan i used tip.it for that. I still wanted to start up a clan. I finally found a post on tip.it made by a guy named evilkiller29 the post said Elite Power Knights restarting clan looking for new leaders. I posted on his topic and contacted him in game. He to was using geocites and we decided to switch to avidgamers. I went though his list of allies to let them know that I was gonna now be leading EPK with Evilkiller the clans i found were Unbreakables, Rune Raiders, and a few weak clans. I posted on there forums and asked for access to there sites. I created a forum on avidgamers and evilkiller29 designed it.

Evilkiller29 becomes inactive
Evilkiller became to busy with RL and i found myself leading EPK on my own I had no clue what i was doing i planned events for my time but didnt think of anybody elses time. People began to join EPK but would shortly become inactive afterwards. So after a few weeks i began to get the hang of things. We only had turn outs of 4 or 5 people but we had fun. Some of my members that were active were

Dragnslyr
Kingmz
Ashter
Slamerz
starter111111

Mass recruiting begins
After a while i began to learn how to recruite i would recruite every were i went. I asked people all the time if they wanted to join. I eventually got people to join but things were getting hard people would have personality clashes on the clan site i eventually got the hang of avidgamers and had a few clan members help me we put in a timezones thing that would help people make it to events.

EPK and Rune Raiders allience
Well after a while i began to communicate with my allies more Rune Raiders ended up being the only active allie left. Unbreakables had disbanned and said they would be back. Rune Raiders had many enemys such as the newly formed clan Corruption and other clans like Zenioc Force, Court of Dragons and Pure Rune. They would gain up and flame RR members so i began to defend for them. I didnt have the clan strength to back them up but i defended them on Tip.it boards.

EPK First War
EPK was a weak clan only a few active members. Rune Raiders was a bit stronger then EPK had a few more members and had a few higher levels the war was an allied war ZF and Corruption vs EPK and RR both clans were way stronger then EPK and RR. Corruption was one of the strongest rs1 clans ever, and Zenoic Force had been around for a while with lots of high levels. I was level 50 at this time and they were level 70s and 80s. We got slaughtered. The leaders of Corruption were Pure Knights, Clever Ninja, there were 2 other corruption leaders but forgot there names.

EPK Second War
EPK second war was another allied war the clans that took place in the war were EPK, RR ,CA and a few other RR allies vs ZF, Corruption, Pure Rune and COD we then again got slaughtered.

EPK and RR merge
EPK began to grow and get stronger we eventually became as strong as RR but our enemys were still way stronger then us. Corruption could easyly take us both out with half there clan. So i decided to beg RR for a merge. I was desprite and i was afraid EPK was gonna die. I was still new to leading and needed help from the RR leaders. After lots of begging we finally merged into a stronger more active clan. Called Elite Rune Raiders.

The Leaders of ERR Were
Top Ace
Upbrother
FireyKnight
Yaochee
Evilkiller29(who would come back now and again)

Begining of Elite Rune Raiders
After the merge we got new people to join ERR and the joint leadership worked out well

ERR first war agaisnt DKU
about a week after ERR was created our first war happen agaisnt DKU we slaughtered DKU but Pure Rune who was allied to DKU. Crashed the war with there allie Corruption. We then yet again got slaughtered

ERR constant battles with Corruption
Pure Knights the leader of Corruption got our pk times and would crash almost everyone of our pk trips. He was determinded to kill our clan. We had a Clan Fun War it was a Civil War were Half of the clan wore red capes and the other half wore Blue. Corruption crashed that killing all of us.

ERR gains power
Constantly being crashed by Corruption and there allies. ERR didnt die they accually became stronger and were begining to become a challenge for Corruption. Pure Knights who was a level 75 pure in Rs1 proved to be a ruthless Corruption leader he would constantly 3 hit Fireyknight and Yaochee

Legendary Knights Part 2

Exer and Pheonix crash ERR and Allies pk trip
ERR had alot of allies i talked to all ERR allies and planed a huge pk trip were all of ERR allies were included. It ended up in alot of confusion cause we all wore anything we didnt pick a cape to wear so we didnt know who was team and who wasnt. So we decided to end the trip and when walking back to edge. 10 level 90s ran right into us killing a bunch of us instantly. Since we were all level 60s and 70s as we were running south we then got crashed by about 35 people that claimed to be Pheonix clan and Exerium. This was still rs1 so you couldnt take them to muilt and own them.

Problems with Xander6669
After being crashed by Exer and Pheonix i started up a convo in msn with The leaders of all the clans on that trip, and with lucca13 who was the leader of Jagz. I then asked Jagz to help us take down Exer. Xander6669 thought i was an idiot for asking lucca to have jagz help us so he flamed me and said he was gonna make a convo with everyone but me.

Upbrother gets betrayed by ERR
Well i wasnt going to put up with that so it ended up us flaming each other constantly until fianlly he came on ERR forums and started flaming me in front of my clan members. I deleted him from the site but yaochee told me to let him back in right after he was let back in he contunied to flame me. I then told fireyknight that either we drop the allience with Chaos Angels or I leave RR so he. He choose to keep the allience with Chaos Angels so i left

Upbrother changes sides
After i was bsed by ERR i applyed for Corruption but was declined. Bob Cob then asked me to come to Pure Rune.

Pure Rune Declares war on CA
Bob Cob had wanted to Declare war on CA for a while, and i was the excuse he needed to declare war on them. They ended up declining cause Xander6669 wanted an unresonable time for the war. Which then ended up in flame wars

Upbrother Leaves Pure Rune
I left Pure Rune because i was power hungry and wanted leadership so i decided to recreate LK since Timmy Arch and long since disbanned it.

followed me to LK

LK Allies with The Dark Chivalry led by Goku Nazz and Dezza69.

LK leaders such as Upbrother and Zein33 leave. Holy Lordz takes leadership of LK.

Free Deem begins a movement to merge with TDC. Free Deem is unsuccessful 3 times.

On the fourth time, Free Deem is successful. TDC and LK merge to form CL. The clan is led by Goku Nazz and Free Deem.

Chivalry of Legends Part 1

It was June 2005. LK was dying and TDC was growing to new levels of strength. TDC offered LK a lease of life by offering a merge; it was accepted and LK and TDC became one, the Chivalry of Legends.

Led by Goku Nazz and Free Deem, the clan stormed into the top 30 instantly. Many told CL they would die because it was a merged clan, but the fighting spirit of CL members defied the odds and kept it going. By September 2005 we had 130 members, a new maximum for CL. We warred Rune Raiders and got completely destroyed. They were rank 10 at the time. The week after we warred EOS who were slightly lower. We outnumbered them but their organisation was second to none compared to ours. Once again we got owned.

It was then that we decided we had to improve organisation.
From September to December we raised from 103 to 107 combat average and grew to a staggering 140 members. We then tried to enter the top 20, by declaring on WG. The war was accepted in our timezone, however Lordship found out that in our timezone we were indestructable to a clan like WG, and thus pulled out. CL got extremely angry and inspired us to train like crazy. We became a very hated figure on RSC as we flamed WG a lot, but some people liked it and decided to join the clan. By the start of January we were 108 combat average with 150 members, a record high for the clan.

However things went down hill. Goku and Dezza left on a 2 week holiday to the Gold Coast, leaving Cuteenigma, Josh013 and Notoriousblz in charge of the clan. They did a terrific job, however, whilst the leaders were gone, fights broke out such and a few CL turned into PJers, such as 5ams5trength and Nasty 01. Victims were Majestyelder and Holy Lordz, prompting them to quit the clan a couple months later, however Majestyelder came back as a retired member.

We then merged with Nasuul’s clan Death Legions, whom were looking for someone to merge with. Because their leadership was Australian and had a good solid Aussie memberbase, they accepted and Nasuul was made Co-Leader alongside Goku and Dezza, and the Chivalry Legions were born…

Chivalry Legions

From here we had a training comp funded by Goku. We got to 110 combat average by March, and declared war on TFC. They accepted, and in a short battle CL won with over 220 ops left. This cemented out spot in the top 20.

We then trained a bit more and Jaguarz declared war on us. Clans like EOS, DE, Fear, Valor, RR and many more declined Jaguarz offer because of their huge memberlist, but CL were not intimidated. Our accepting of the war payed off, and CL won with over 180 ops left, a huge win for the clan, boosting us into the top 16-18.

Trouble arose when we declared on Valor. They kept declining because of “timezone issues”. Their argument was that warring at 9am Australian time is an advantage for us. Obviously it wasn’t, so we flamed them and they flamed us to the bone. A huge rivalry arose, and CL were inspired to train so much that we went from 111 to 113.5 average in 2 months! By May 2006, CL and Valor were equal in ranks but they still would not accept a war. We hunted Valor’s PK trips and destroyed them. Verbally, mentally, physically, in all ways shapes and forms, Valor was ultimately destroyed. They died in June 2006. This put CL into the top 15.

All was going good until the end of July. People began to get angry at the lack of P2P mage bank trips. A rebellion started, and many people left. Goku was so close to closing the clan. He had the full “CL has officially closed” post written out on RSC ready to post. Something told him to believe in his clan, so he decided to stay in the clan for another month and give leadership away. However, Co-leaders Dezza69 and Rockinsummer both left to DS. Kortho also made a leaving post, but decided to stay, and thank god he did. Council such as Bontoc Pinoy and Mistermage2 left. Our commander PunkRocks8 left and created his own clan FS, stealing about 15 CL members to go and join with them. A special thanks to leaderboard members like Kate, Notoriousblz, Mattakata, Red_Rascal and more for sticking with the clan during this time and showing utmost loyalty. Thankfully, Punkrock8’s FS were a PJ clan, and because they recruited PJers, a few returned to CL. Even now, people like Sxk secretly ask me if they can come back to CL because they don’t like Punkrocks8 leadership. However, Goku tells them quite simply no . Fortunately for CL, they proved to be much too powerful for FS at mage bank, and in the end FS died. Goku Nazz was one happy man .

Because CL came so close to dying, CL was at an all time low. The public had no idea and continued to rank us 15th. Our memberlist shrunk to 120 members with 112.8 combat average. We had one last war against BK at 12:20am Aussie time. We pulled 180 ops and defeated Bk with 60 ops left. This was a huge morale booster and inspired Goku to continue on with CL. The clan became high in morale again and soared back into form.

Council elections were held, with 19 new council members elected. They voted for our new leader: Tomcovenant0, who with his extraordinary Administration skills has turned CL into a professional world class clan, growing back to a clan with 140 active members and 113.6 combat average. Old school CL such as Dezza69 and Rockinsummer came back. The clan was never looking better. We secured an alliance with Rune Raiders, and it was very successful. Cl were a part of huge PKs every day in the Australian timezone beating Bf, Ni, and Fr frequently. These were never posted on RSC, but CL knows that we were doing good. We also won a huge war in our timezone, 270 ops vs 260 ops, with 230 ops left, a huge morale booster and prompted new applicants to join up. With school holidays coming up, CL is looking closely at a spot in the top 10….

The school Holidays which we thought would be a time of CL dominating the wilderness did not start off well and ended up setting the whole clans moral over these holidays. CL had an offical war with Black Knights on the 16th of December. The time zones seemed to suit BK and this was proven when 50 PEOPLE (not ops) of CL that had signed up for the war did not turn up. This resulted in then kicking and suspension of members who did not show which paved the way for CL’s dismal holiday performance.
Tomcovenant0 decided CL wasnt going to grow and get stronger and deemed us a ‘social clan’. With him 4-5 ESt’ers left CL many others lost interest in the clans betterment. HighCouncil at the time the group of Notoriousblz, Kortho, Ork_Legend, Mattkata and Red_Rascal grabbed hold of a disintegrating clan by its throat and promised a better/brighter future..

Goku came back to leadership with Dezza69. Then the whole leaderboard was refreshed. New faces.. New enthusiasm, New morale.. The recruitment of Martino Heat from DS was also a big positive for CL, and he contributed to the clan by eventually becoming our War General and being one of the best War Gens CL has ever had. It all seemed to be going quite well until..

CL proceeded into yet another slump (due to the fact that members were getting much too complacent/slack/lazy) which continued untill the 24th of February 2007 when CL declared a Mini War on Gladz ranked 3rd at the time. Goku Nazz proclaimed “If we dont get 200+ ops to this im closing CL”. Thank god our prayers where answered and we pulled 220ops to the Mini out opping Gladz by 103ops. CL then crusied to a 8 minute clean of Gladz with most of Gladz not praying and getting koed. CL headed into a training competition and gained 120 combat average in March. This was a huge event for CL. Morale was sky high and by the end of the competition, we had over 121 combat average.

One day Davis 123 and Sleekism69 organised an event with the NH clan Rot. They made CL turn up 1 iteming and we were made fools of publicly. This led to Davis 123 being kicked and Sleekism69 being demoted. Sleekism was later reinstated as War General in the June leaderboard shuffle, and Davis made a return to CL after a short stint in AG, working his way back up the ranks, and eventually becoming War General when Martino Heat retired.

In April/May CL had a 5 day prep miniwar against TMRD at 11PM AEST. CL managed to pull 300 options and managed to easily beat TMRD, ending with over 180 options. Once again the clan was flying high, and due to some consistent PK Run In wins CL was ranked 5-6th in the world.

In June/July, CL hit another slump. The leadership was going inactive and we weren’t doing too successfully in the wilderness. We decided that we should reshuffle the leaderboard. There were various promotions such as Herkle who became the new CL leader alongside Goku and Dezza, Myron who was promoted to co-leader and many other commanders who stepped up, such as Kess Emek, Jono 151, I R Stewy and P4nteric4 and new councilors such as ch4nce and stoksy 69er.. The change of leaderboard was good for the clan and things started to improve.

Slowly but surely other clans became obsessed with the toplists, and started teaming with no honour clans to win their fights. CL had had enough of conforming with the other clans in the RS world, and began to go down their own path. Instead of getting themselves into boring 10 hour fights, they began to soley PK and war, becoming invincible in the Aussie timezone and the most dominant clan in the game. The clan had gone from a big slump, to a thriving array of first class PKers. Once again morale was restored and clan had never been better. CL were pulling 200+ ops to mandatory PKs, and winning every fight they entered. They always gained rune on their PK trips, and had a community that put all other clans to shame. Now, CL is still riding this wave of success. It is a wave that is only creeping up, and is yet to reach it’s potential. CL is the best it’s ever been, and the good prospect is that we havn’t even seen the best of CL yet….

A few members begin to get cocky at their dominance in the wild, including Pudd9 who would loot ridiculous amount of rune sets at PKs, and would go to 10 v 10 wars and bind people thinking because he was CL he was untouchable. Unfortunately his luck turned when leaders warned him of his bad behaviour. After being warned, he left. The leaders made sure he was given an ugly send off, and blacklisted him from all things to do with CL. As the clan was in a small slump due to Pudd9 and his looting friends, this greatly helped CL. We had a week prep war with EOS, and pulled 210 ops from a possible 90 people. EOS pulled only 150 ops, and made excuses to not war, claiming we ‘took extra retirees’ to the war, even though we only took 4 (5 were allowed). Because of their cowardly actions, CL was officially declared winners on RSC, making it our 6th official war win in 1.5 years. After this war many commanders were promoted, including Etu2, The_Kus, Ko_Addiction, Surrey St, Gunner 27 (Mr Smelt0) and Embodied23. P4nteric4 and Kess Emek remained commanders, while Davis 123 became sole war general after Martino Heat failed to show up to the EOS war. With the new commanders leading the way, CL fell out of its slump and began to once again actively own clans in the wilderness. Clans like SR, Torment, KCR, LF, TF, AA, and many others fall to CL day by day. And it doesn’t look like stopping…

Bounty Hunter Era

Summer holidays came along. First thing we did, have an official war with WL and win. After that war CL continued to improve as losses became increasingly rare. This continued until our loss in a full out war with TT and the sudden update taking away the wilderness and replacing it with BH. However this was not going to stop CL. After the Christmas break, CL had their first planned pkri in a long time against RDC to try out BH. It was a success. This brought on a spur of wins throughout January, the main one’s being CL vs EH, CL vs Sok + TNC + Synergy (our 150 opts vs their 225) and CL vs Eos + Col/friends. February came along and there was nothing stopping us. CL defeated RSD in a 5 hour pkri, who were rank #2 at the time. This win followed by the defeat of Luna in a pkri the same night sent morale sky high. The winning streak continued against other major clans such as VR and RDC. This all led up to the week prep pkri with Fools. CL finally hit 200+ opts in a pkri after many months, and managed to defeat Fools within 1.5 hours and end with 222 opts. As CL were looking to go on to better things after this magnificent summer, Jagex decided to kill the momentum by turning BH into single.

Clan Wars Era

With the change of Bounty Hunter going to single and Clan Wars being the only option left for clans, there were a few changes to the Leaderboard. Etu2 was promoted to Warlord, Naughty Bro who showed promise as a pk leader was moved to Commander, and Mmilord pushed to Council. A week after these promotions, Martino Heat made his retiring topic. This was a huge shock . Although luckily, this was only short lived as he returned a few months later.

The start of the winter brought a new competition to the clan community. The Clan Wars Premier League. This was setup by our own Leaders Goku and Herkle. Sign ups were taken during May by all the top clans at the time. By the time sign ups were closed, over 60 clans had entered the league. This was a great achievement in itself. Clans that had joined the CWPL were put into their respective leagues based on current form and power. CL being put in the 2nd division known as the “Championship League”. We geared up for the first week against The Rising and pulled 81 people at 11:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, which was a fantastic effort on our behalf. Unfortunately, due to inexperience with CL’s warring, we lost by 25 people. Although the morale was a bit low, we knew that the only way we could go from there was up. And thats exactly we did. Over 5 weeks we managed to get wins over clans such as Gladz and Collision who were in our division. This most likely would have also been wins over Adelais and BK ,but they pulled out of the league before it was our turn fight them. Ultimately, CL finished 4th in the League which wasn’t too bad considering many members were new to the Clan Wars Arena and were unfamiliar with it.

Around this time Goku Nazz retired from leadership after four years of leading, handing over the reigns to Herkle and P4nteric4. As CL was primarily a free to play pking clan, the restrictions of being stuck fighting in Clan Wars Arena was taking its toll with more CL retiring or leaving simply because the game was no fun anymore. Consequently, turnouts continued to drop and the memberlist grew smaller. Organisation also dropped as our more experienced members were going inactive. Nevertheless the remaining members pushed on into the second Clan Wars Premier League, beginning with a win against LF pulling 58 people and ending with 41.

However, only days after this win (early September 2008) Jagex released the returning option for the Clan Wars Arena. We began with a pkri with FP, winning comfortably. Then we had a go at the dangerous Free For All Arena with a 1 hour cap with Eos, however it wasn’t very popular so we were stuck with returning fights in the Clan Wars Arena. Due to the more popular returning fights, CL dropped its focus completely from the Clan Wars Premier League which led to a poor finish to the league.

The next few weeks followed with more returning fights in the Clan Wars arena with our turnouts staying consistent between 50-60 people each fight.

PvP Era

Finally after many months of waiting, Jagex released the PvP update around mid October 2008. Although the drop system was nothing like the days of old, it was still the same fun pking. Quickly we quit Clan Wars Arena for the next few weeks and moved on to PvP where we belong.

The first few weeks of PvP began with CL fighting the newly formed Team X around 4 times a week, sometimes with FP joining X’s side against us. Nevertheless, we never let X beat us. Due to our repeated beatings of X, their turnouts of 150-200 opts dropped to below 90 opts and they never recovered. Knowing we were only going to keep hitting them, they disappeared completely.

November came around and activity dropped as it was exam period for Australians/New Zealand. However that did not stop us hunting TNC, Sok and AA on a daily basis, while hitting clans like Exodus, TMC, LF, NG and LTPK on the weekends, sometimes going in clusters with CL + FP fighting multiple clans and coming out on top.

Activity then improved with more fights (although turnouts were still the same) as we moved into December. However it wasn’t until 4 days before Christmas until it paid off with a pkri against RDC. We began at 11:30pm AEST with over 180 opts and took on RDC’s 180 opts for 5 hours straight, forcing them to regroup until it hit 4:30am in the morning. It was a sign of good things to come.

2009

We kept up the 150+ opt turnouts for prepped pkri’s with winning fights against clans such as Eos and LF. Sadly in early January Herkle stepped down from leadership after almost a year and a half of leading CL. Rockinsummer took his place as Leader of CL with P4nteric4.

As the summer holidays were ending we had our longest pkri in a year against EH. CL began with a turnout of over 70 people and dominated from the beginning. However EH decided to drag out the fight as long as they could. After 9.5 hours of fighting, CL called off returning at 11:00pm AEST.

With talk of a merge, CL’s activity began to drop again. Turnouts decreased and the memberlist grew smaller again. We still pushed on though, beating clans such as Exodus, TNC + UBH in a 2v1 and NG on week preps and getting turnouts of over 50 people. It wasn’t until April when Rockinsummer stepped down from leadership when the slump finally hit.

Myronator was promoted to lead alongside P4nteric4 as well as a leaderboard reshuffle promoting two new High Council, an Advisor and two new Council. The main aim with all these changes was for a fresh start, a new look for CL. While in the short term we knew this was going to be a hard struggle, we knew in the long term it would pay off. And so it did.

In late April we had our first fight for the Jagex Cup (a Jagex run full out war tournament) against The Gladiatorz. We turned up with 57 people to fight Gladz’s 61 and won with 38 people standing taking us to the third round of the Jagex Cup (our first round the other clan forfeited). However, this was the biggest win we had for the month.

While turnouts were lower and CL’s memberlist hit a record low, the fire in CL burned just as strong as ever, if not stronger after a 4.5 hour pkri in late May with Exodus who decided they’d flame us even though they regrouped on a non PvP world to try keep up with us. Thanks to Exodus, CL was set back on the right path again. June came around and it was evident CL was on the rise. Turnouts improved and the memberlist was growing. This was soon tested with a prepped pkri against NG. CL pulled 192 opts and knew we were back. We followed this up with a 210 opt turnout in a prepped pkri with TNC (we only had 72 members), ripping them apart and defeating them.

With July came the 6th CJ Tournament. While our pking activity didn’t stop, we had fewer prepped pkri’s due to having tournament fights. Sadly we were knocked out of the F2P 50v50 categories and the P2P 20v20 and we were only able to progress to the second round for the F2P 15v15 Range Only category.

Runescape Clans – The History of Collision

PART 1

TOL – It starts

It all started in the summer of 2003 when Albus1234567 came up to Broken_22 when they were both training on Lesser demons in Karamja valcano. They started the clan and had some events. It was pking if you want to call it that. Most of TOL’s members were around lvl 80 with the exception of Jed Averill , who was a mighty lvl 106. When Albus became to inactive to lead anymore Furioust “AKA Matty” took over TOL. In early 2004 Matty made TOL is first official forums and under his leadership Tha Outlaws became a strong pking clan that wasn’t afraid to take on almost anyone. With his famous afro crown he lead Tha Outlaws to many victory’s. Everyone loved and respected his leadership.

Tha Outriders – Tha first merge

In the summer time of 2004 Tha Outlaws merged with The dragonriders (TDR). Because of issues Matty had with them over wanting them to wear full rune and not to telly. (Yes using tellaport runes was a major issue back in those days.) The first PK was chaos. Later that day TDR’s leader tried to ban Matty from his own forums so the merge broke down after just two days. Tol’s leadership decided that merges just were for us and time marched on.

Expounder and Owz600 – Genesis begins

Expounder and Owz600 decided to start there own clan called Genesis. Owz and Expo agreed an on almost everything. Once this clan started Owz and Expounder started to have a little success. Both Expo and Owz told all of Tha Outlaws members to stay with TOL. But alot of them didn’t listen. With around 40% of TOL joining GSS they won many battles. They never got ranked in the top 25, but they were able to beat many clan there own size and never had many defeats. The clan never showed signs of slowing down but continued to grow. However Owz and Expounder started to miss TOL ( Tha Outlaws). They heard how they were hurting and were getting picked on by clans like Anarchy and Exer. Expounder told Owz one day how much he miss TOL and he wished to rejoin TOL. Owz agreed and both leaders agreed to help TOL by sending GSS (Genesis) members back to TOL. Once this happened TOL would never be the same.

Alliances – One strong beginning, one weak ending

On Oct 20 2005, at 04:11 pm Sakabatou59 posted on TOL’s furoms asking for a alliance. Sakabatou was second in command of Clan Overdose under there leader Geometrical. There was alot of hype going around that there was going to be a alliance because our two clans got along very well and had very many successful PK trips together.
On Dec 11, 2005 TOL also allied for a while with a clan called Lethel Blades. The alliance broke down shortly after because there style of pking and TOL’s wasn’t the same. Plus TOL already had a strong relationship with OD and that’s all we wanted or needed.

Furioust and TOL – Defeat TUF

Tol agreed to a war with The Forsaken
TOL started with 150 opts vrs 165 -170 opts with TUF. Tol ended with around 110 – 105 opts. Being that TUF was ranked at the time. They tried to say that TOL cheated.( with no grounds, they tried to say TOL had 1 -2 players that wasn’t suppost to be there.) However TOL won so convincingly that RSC/ the clan world agreed that TOL won. TUF was ranked to 25 and TOL took there spot. This help TOL to grow alot. This was Furioust’s first Major victory.

Furioust goes inactive – The rise of Jedaverill & Expounder

Furioust had just got himself a new girlfriend and the clan was seeing less and less of him around. Jedaverill was doing the bulk of the leadership work but didn’t have enough time to do alot of the things that needed to be done. Being more into the Pking aspect of the job, Jed himself didn’t really enjoy leading but did it for the good of the clan. Someone posted and asked Furioust to make a temporary leader. Several people on the post asked for Expounder by name and Furioust agreed. Expounder came online later in the day and saw the post. After talking with Furioust, Expounder agreed to take the job until Furioust returned. On Jan 13 2006 Furioust made Expounder into a temp leader. Later Furioust liked the job Expounder was doing and made him into a full leader to serve along side Jedaverill forever.

Expounders First War – TOL learns a thing or two

On Jan 15 2006 The Death Squad (TDS) declared war on TOL. TDS had about 121 Registered members compared to TOL’s 70 or so. The fight took place at the ruins. TDS rushed in with almost 300 opts and TOL had a little less then half of that. TOL had been running drills for a while and was able to hold TDS off for a long time. However the numbers became to great and TOL went down. TOL may have lost but we saw something we hadn’t seen before. We realized that even tough we were greatly outnumbered we could still hold our own (which was a fairly new thing in those days). TOL came away from that fight a new clan with a new since of how to fight in the wild. After this fight TOL started to be ranked for the first time in it’s history and won many battles afterwares.

David802291’s Rise
The first of many responsibilities this guy would have
With one of TOL’s council members stepping down. David was given his first role in the leadership. On Mar 6 2006, Expounder posted these words.

[I] “As we know Aaron can not be active and he asked that David take his spot.
David is a loyal member that as been here a long time and has never left to my knowledge. He always makes people feel at home here and never flames. He is active and really cares about this clan. In my eyes Aaron made a great choice.
So Gratz to David everyone!!!!
You deserve it”

Expounder couldn’t have agreed with Arron more and none of us had any idea how great role David would play in the future. Had we only known then what we know now he would have been promoted along time ago. He would do many great things for TOL/COL. But that is later on in history, as you will read shortly.

The Idea – What would become Collision

One day Expounder logged on and found out that Furioust, Geometrical, and Sakabatou59 were talking. Geo, Fury, and Saka started talking of a merge between the two clans. Furioust told Expounder to see if the clan agreed and to set it up if TOL did. Expounder agreed but only if 70 Plus % of TOL agreed also. Geometrical taught this was a good idea and said that 70% of The Overdose must agree. So the first polls where set up.

The polls were set up and both clans agreed. ON Feb 12 2006, 01:58 AM a poll was set up once again on TOL site. A 88% approval rated was given from TOL as follows:

yes [ 47 ] [88.68%]
no [ 6 ] [11.32%]

Overdose also had a poll and agreed with over 88% that TOL and OD should merge.

Once both clans approved Geo and Expo began making a contract on the rules that Collision would follow. Below is what they agreed on.

TOL + OD Merge Contract

All master below keep there rank as of now. Unless as stated above Volts doesn’t want it anymore. If that is the case someone well be voted Gen for TOL side along with JED.

Choosing a name

With both clans finally agreeing to a merge the next thing in order was to find a name for the clan. Again a poll was set up. First suggestions on the new name were asked from both TOL and OD’s members. The names just couldn’t be any made up old name, they had to have meaning. They was narrowed down to these three.

Name: Genesis
Why: It means a new beginning. This would be good for both clans.

Name: Collision
Why: Two forces colliding with each other.
Plus we could have a banner with TOL on one side
and OD on the other side. (Geo’s idea)

Name: Tha Overlords
Why: Been Suggested somewhere before. Combines both
names and to me it doesn’t sound bad at all.

Name: SWAT
Why: I have no idea…lol

So once again a new poll was sat up to vote on the name.
Collision [ 20 ] [40.82%]
Tha Overlords [ 2 ] [4.08%]
SWAT [ 5 ] [10.20%]
Genesis [ 17 ] [34.69%]
I’ll write my vote in [ 5 ] [10.20%]

Both OD and TOL agreed on the name Collision so everything was set in place but the work.

Making Collision

Both Geo and Expo agreed that this shouldn’t be anything that we rushed into. In fact at one point after the name was picked the merge almost didn’t happen. Because Geo didn’t like how Expounder allowed TOL members talk above lvl 30 wilderness and Geo wasn’t sure all the TOL members liked him for a bit. But things worked out after Expo posted about it with the following post. (I think both sides were alittle nerves about the merge anyway)

Geo’s post: Posted: Mar 1 2006, 09:08 AM

“hey guys, im postponing the merge for a week or 2. One reason why im doing this is because on the last few pk trips i’ve gone with you guys. Alot of members are still talking after the pk leader says be quiet. Also members are still chasin pass charlie and passing dwarfs. If we’re goin to b a successful clan, we neeed to stop this . IF A MEMBER SCREAMS HES TEAM. DONT ATTACK. The pk leaders should b alot more strict in this pk trips because once we merge.Alot of tol members got upset like that one time i lead a tol pk trip because I gave out strikes and members decided to “freak IT” and leave. During OD pk trips, we’re very strict in pking. We might not b able to max out opts or max out levels. but we do noe how to listen when a leader says shut up, and fall in.”

so lets start getting serious because i noe alot of tol hate me and my rules. so i just want everyone used to the rules b4 the merge and a reminder of them.

( this is not a flame topic )

Expounder’s reply to Geo

“I have nothing but respect for OD . But I’ve been having second thoughts also. I mean we are doing pretty good as one clan. The people putting forth effort are doing a super goodjob. We worked along time for Tha Outlaws name to get out there. Latly TOL has only gotten better. With a few road bumps on the way. It’s just scary to me that we might lose that or the whole clan. The fact is most merges don’t work. Like the upper 70% fall apart in under three months time. From what I’ve seen on the furoms we are two very diffrent clans.

Please don’t get me wrong. I’ll still go along with the merge if thats what everyone wants. OD is still our best friends and we would do anything for you guys. But I’m just uncertain about the future if we do merge.

As for the talking thing. There is a place for it and there is a place not to talk. For example when we are almost at the GD’s. People should shut up. Talking could get us all killed. Basically any place a clan could be. But in other places it’s ok as long as your not spamming. When your in the wild it should be all business. Chasing is a different matter. I can see some strikes coming to people that are deserting there clan just to chase a runner down 30 lvls.

P.S. Geo, I’m fairly sure TOL member’s don’t hate you. Your great buddy.”

Afterward Geo and Expo settled things and the merge was back on. Expo went to work on making the new forums and Geo helped prep both clans for the merge.

Collision is Born

On Mar 19, 2006 at the stroke of midnight Expounder posted the link to COl’s first forums on both OD’s and COL forums. Also a Post was prepared for RSC by both Expo and Geo on the matter.

PART 2

THE BEGINNING

Once upon a time, there were 6 friends that decided to make a crew which would soon turn out to become one of the greatest clans in runescape history. These 6 friends were Geometrical, Sakabatou59, Phillyphil, Eewerd, Zone Wolf, and Ace Hykari. Around level 50, these friends made a crew called the coyotes lead by Eewerd. Why were we called the coyotes? This remains a mystery. We started figuring out the “mysteries” in wildy as we wander endlessly around, killing noobs and getting killed ourselves. Back then our armor (so to say) was mainly MITH, every time we pk, we would wear mith. After this experience, the 6 friends found themselves in a tight decision to keep the crew going on or to train. The reason for this was because of going onto vacation. It was only right to take a break

THE BALANCE

Then after this experience, the 6 friends found themselves in a tight decision to keep the crew going on or to train. The reason for this was because of going onto vacation. It was only right to take a break so they did. One by one at different times, each left to take a brake, but as they did brake off from the game combat levels went off beat from each other, competition, and the creation of enemies between the friends grew. There was no more balance…

K.U.I (Killing. Under. The Influence.)

After the long tedious training and competing among each other. Zone Wolf couldn’t take it anymore and decided to leave the crew and clan. Because of this lost, Eewerd and the rest of the crew decided to make an official clan known as K.U.I ( Killing Under the Influence). There we met our elder members of COD which were V eye E tee, Hios, Matamorph, Zxztigerzzxz, and Koenma2005. With the help of these members, K.U.I became a great force to be dealt with in wildy.

A. The Betrayal

Chewy67 was a player to depend on in the beginning because he helped us in a way to build up K.U.I, but we didn’t know what was in store for us later. As the days passed, Eewerd gets hacked. Eewerd gets into a fight with Chewy67 so Eewerd accuses him of hacking. Note that Chewy67 was met through Runescape not IRL. The reason Eewerd accused Chewy67 because he would always say that he hacked Eewerd to other people and so he left the clan…

K.U.I (Continued)

We started to grow slowly but, one day, an omen came down upon K.U.I. That day, after a pk trip, our leader Eewerd gave us an announcement. He announced that he will leave K.U.I and Runescape to follow Zone Wolf. Geometrical knew what to do, being as he was the 3rd member out of the 6 to play Runescape. He stepped up and took position as leader. With the leadership of Geometrical, KUI sprouted up and made its way to the top clans. With the help of V eye E tee, KUI made an Alliance with Green Dragons. They soon fell apart, and a few members joined KUI. This was the start of a beautiful beginning for Geometrical and the clan.

Long Lived K.U.I ?

K.U.I have fought vigorously through the wilderness and grew slowly. After 2 months, K.U.I had it’s usual meeting, but this meeting changed everything. In the meeting, a member named Vietguy666 started to be very obnoxious and were making arguments with other clan members. This caused a separation between the clan members. Looking at this, Geo had no more hope in K.U.I and it broke apart due to this separation.

TOL and then 13 Devils

After the separation of K.U.I few of the members went to TOL because they knew a lot of members in there. Then Geometrical met up with Kil Jaeden, a close friend, and he said that he was going to make 13 Devils live again. So the members left TOL and started 13 Devils. 13 Devils didn’t last to long due to the “giveaway” of ranks. It seemed that everyone in the clan had some kind of high positions and everyone wanted it so 13 Devils broke apart…

Overdosing on that Ownage Pill

After the departure of 13 devils, our 3 friends, Geometrical, Sakabatou59, Phillyphil, went to train but still kept in touch. They thought that they should re-make K.U.I again because old K.U.I members wanted it to come back. After a few weeks, Phillyphil thought of a name for a new clan, Clan Overdose. Then lived Clan Overdose, with our Leader Geometrical and Co Leaders Sakabatou59 and Phillyphil. With lots of pk experience, knowledge, and organization, these 3 friends pulled it together and made this clan, Clan Overdose.

The Future

The future is still uncertain, but the 3 friends know one thing, that they will try their best for this clan to work out and knowing that one day, Clan Overdose will grow and rise to the top above all in Runescape. . .

By: Geometrical, Sakabatou59, and Eewerd

A Look Back

Let’s take a moment and look back. That was the History leading up to Overdose. Now, I guess it’s my turn to talk about the leading up to Collision since I’m the only remaining of the 3 Friends. What should I start with? Ah yes, let’s start with some embarrassing moments of some of our current members:

A. Some of Bl4z1ng’s Post

“strange plant…Feb 14 2006”
i wasnt payin attention while trainin.. and when i look, i saw a strange plant attackin me…. (im new to being a member) wat does it drop if u do kill it… it has ridiculous high def or is it immune to melee?

“wooohooo…Feb 3 2006”
woohooo i got my first kill in today’s pk trip laugh.gif forgot to take screen shot of the drops but i shared wit ppl

we coulda gotten more kills, me and smack was chasing a lvl 122? or 123? but the mage foloed us and didnt try to bind until he was 2 step away from single………

Aha, there is more from other members but yeah thought I put some of Bl4z1ng’s posts as he was mad noob.

Overdose Officials Before the Merge

Alright so, I would like to get some statistics out of the way before going into the story. But before the Merge, here were the Officials:

Leader: Geometrical
Co-Leaders: Sakabatou59 and Phillyphil
Master Warlords: Hios and Matamorph
High Council: Hurly Star, Mistasize16, and Romeo In Luv

These guys were the backbone of Overdose. Took care of everything. But you know as time went by they had to retire. So far the current members that are active in Collision are Matamorph and me (Sakabatou59)

The History Continues: Time Passes By

As time passed by, Overdose had its Pk Trips and fought many clans in Wildy. One clan that was big for that I remember beating was THOR (The Hobbits of Runescape). Went out to wildy and basically took them out. Other clans that we had beef with was KO (Knights of Order). But the beef mainly involved the 3 Friends and the new additions – Hios and Matamorph. It seems that Overdose was running well. Although there were some drama at times, there was nothing ridiculous that took the clan apart. In order to continue our prosperity, we sought out clans that shared our common interests. This clan happened to be TOL. Sakabatou59 and Geometrical approached their Officials to become Allies.

OD and TOL

Because the 3 friends were once a part of TOL, they decided to let some TOL members join OD PK Trips. The most active of the TOL members that came to the PK Trips were Avenger Yo K and Darkreaper70. OD had become very fond with these 2 members and the idea struck that OD and TOL should be allies. However, before being allies both clans made sure that both knew each others members. After some discussion and the great debate of Teleing, the two clans became Allies but both had no idea that they would soon become Collision.

From here, I’m sure that everyone else got a glimpse of how things would become from Expounder’s Part. There are some details but I don’t think its necessary for the History. Have fun. Bl4z1ng/David has Part 3!

PART 3

Once Collision was merged from TOL and OD. We had alot of clans doubting us, calling us fail clan and we were going to die soon. But we were determined to prove all of them wrong. Shortly after our merge, Collision started to show our potential of becoming a great clan. Thus we attracted alot of attentions from other stronger clans. Collision was challenged by The Death Squad shortly after, and our first OFFICIAL War. We were the underdog in this war as everybody think Collision would lose and get own. Collision were pump up, we trained and preped for the war, and pulled 220+ opts! and slaughtered TDS.

With the win over TDS, our morale were high and more people joining. We got cocky as hell. One week later, Moriquendi challenged us to another full our war. Moriquendi was rank top 20 around the time and capable of pulling 250+ opts. Once again we were deem the underdog, with everybody expecting us to lose and the win over TDS was a fluke. We were once again determined to prove them wrong by defeating Mori.

After our Mori war, Collision was getting alot of attention in the clan world as the new and upcoming clan of the year. With great success also come with great problems. We were getting hunted by alot of top 5-10 clans that were trying to kill us and clans having spies in Collision. EOS started hunting us almost every pk trip, and they would find us easily due to the spy. Our morale was killed as a clan. We were scared to go out. But we did not stop, we continue pking and fighting EOS. We always lose to EOS at that time, but everytime we fought EOS, we would last a little longer. Then finally one day we were able to fight EOS neck to neck on the verge of beating them, but Corruption crashed our fight.

After we prove to EOS that we are able to fight them neck to neck, they got off of us. But Corruption started hunting us, and it was like a repeat of EOS. But then DF started helping us due to the friendship between Expounder and Lego from DF.

At this time, Collision have a 140s member ML, and we were fucking cocky as ever. Talk shit to almost every clan we think we can beat.

One day we encountered Anarchy in the wilderness, and we raped them in a pkri. Anarchy was so mad losing to a top 15 clan and them being a top 10 clan. They immediately make a Official Declaration on RSC to punk us out. But we accepted!!! Once again we were the underdog….. Every mother fucking clans out there think we are going to lose. Reason being Anarchy is a 3 years old clan compare to us less than 1 year old. This is the most pumped full out official war in Collision History, as losing was not an option. Anarchy talk so much shit about us being sissy. So for our war, all Collision were asked to changed their character to Female. Just like our previous wars, we were again determined to win.

After the Anarchy war, we fought The Titans in a full out mini war. And we won. [The only win vs TT] This fight make us somewhat cool with each other, and we were interested in forming an alliance together. At this time, Collision offered a multiple combined clans vs THE. With one week prep, Collision set up alot of practice fight in preparation to fight the monster The Clan with 250+ members.
In the end it become to be Col+TT+Mori+Deathrow vs The. Both side started with 399+++++++. The entire was member gate area was lagging, when The charged with 399++++ opts, the CTMD weren’t able to see them after 10 seconds and then we realized they had charged. We better piling and transition, the CTMD came out victorious. With the victory, there is also a reward, Collision and The Titans decided to be an official allies. Our Alliance still stand till this day as one of the strongest alliance out there.

As every clan have their up and down, Collision hit our first slump and after our inactive sweep, we were down to 90ish member from our 140s member list. Summer hit us the hardest worst than any other clan have ever done so. During our slump, for some reason, we started beefing with a Dutch clan. Red Devil Clan. There were alot of flame toward both clan. So we wanted to settle it in a good old fashion official war, but it was decline several time. But RDC was still flaming us saying they are better, because they have higher combat average, older clan and more members than us. After numerous taunting from both side, a 10 days prep war was settle between both side. This war is special, a 5 hybrid cap rule was set, but as neither side had experience fighting in a war with hybrid. We trained and drilled, after all our hard work, we destroyed RDC in this fullout.

At this time, we have become a top 10 clan pull 200ish opts to all our pk/pkri. Also at the same time a new clan was merged, Hostile and Awaken to form Violent Resolution. Everybody think Vr was going to die within a couple months because of the leadership. Collision and Violent Resolution have alot of history, they crashed our fights, and put spies in our clan. So we basically fight each other every time we pk just like we did with Eos. After a couple months, both clans slumped and we eventually moved on.

Alot has changed in Collision since then, we hit our usual summer slump but we knew we were going to come out of this stronger. And we were. We were once again a power house around October/November. During December 6, 2007, one of our dearest member Sir Nemesis [Peter] passed away due to cancer. Peter had a dream while he was alive and that was to beat Damage Inc. who were ranked around top 3 at the time, but DI had fallen to top 8 or so. As our farewell gift to Peter, we challenged Eternal Honour who were ranked top 5 instead of DI. We dedicated this fight to our friend Peter who were kicking in heaven, and losing was not an option no matter what the costs may be. After 14ish hours of fighting, Collision had won the fight vs EH and setting the longest pkri in the history of RS in the name of Peter.

After our win versus EH, Collision didn’t have many fight after that. Soon after summer hit us once again. But this time we were more stabilize and knew what to do. Collision started to rise once again at a slow pace. Our leader Geometrical decided to retire due to RL. But David[David802291] step up and did a fantastic job leading along side with Expounder.

During late December of 2007 and Early 2008, Expounder went MIA, and David become less active. Then comes the terrible news of wilderness being taken out and replace with Bounty Hunters. We lost some members due to that. Not wanting to waste time in moaning and bitching. Collision adapted to the new battle field and started going strong once again pull 180-200 opts with 80ish members.

During the Bh Era, Collision was going strong. We pked almost daily. Our warlord Hios[Matt] and Council Bl4z1ng set up to pk every day in Bh, and thus attracted alot of people to join us. By the end of BH, Collision was undoubtedly top 5 in Pking wise.

By April, BH was made single, and a new arena was given to the clan war. A clan war arena. CWA lasted for half a year until Wildnerss was given back. Plus with the approaching summer, and our slump time. Collision hit the hardest slump in years. With us losing so many CWA fight due to us not taking it seriously. Soon our members started leaving and we were struggling to pull 50 people to our prep fight. By the end of CWA ERA, we started to take it more seriously and gotten stronger from it.

Around October 2008, Jagex released a new Arena, Dangerous Free for all Portal. This time not wanting to wait or not taking it seriously, we wanted to adapt and we did. But it was nothing like the wilderness, and alot of clan hated it. After 2 months or so, Jagex re released wilderness back to us. Around this time we barely have a 60ish members ML. We have alot of up and down in this couple months time. Alot of official leaving. Collision stuck through it and promoted bl4z1ng to our new leader. With the help and the hard works of the members and official. Collision were once strong and kicking pulling 180-200 opts. But our new found success was short lived due to members retiring to RL and other reasons. We lost about 15 members in 2 weeks. From pulling 200 opts in mid March, were started to pull 130-150 in the end of March.
